Good Morning Everyone,

The luau pool party at Spot's was an enormous success. thank you Pat, for having all those kitties over and for watching out for them. I don't know what time Stu got back to camp and he's not saying anything except that he and some of the party goers were swimming in the lake at dawn and Mannie was demonstrating diving technique. In any event, the party was good for Stu and he dropped his AMPS to yellow this A.M. We got to camp in the late afternoon yesterday and to my horror I discovered that I had forgotten to pack syringes!!! But fortunately there were a few here (some are not marked with 1/2 units, however, so I will have to eyeball it starting tomorrow. Also fortunately, all of the syringes are U-100 . I have enough to get through Friday morning, and that's when we're going back home, so I lucked out!!)
All ps are in place this A.M. Stu ate all the food in his automat last night. He's itching to go outside, but that's not permitted here because it's too dangerous for him.

mid yellow, not bad stu! Glad you had some syringes left around your camp and you could get the shot into him .... sorry to hear it is to dangerous for you go to outside stu, but your bean knows best!

Hey you guys!! We totally missed SPOT"S party!!!!! OMG!
We were gone 14 hrs at show--Moonie had DPS here, & dont think she was too happy cat(2)_steam
Stu is statring out at a Beautiful amps, so he's going green today-right STU???
Hope you have a wonderful trip--Glad you had syringes!! Yesterday Ieft my cell phone home, so we had to go for it..

Stu - my man! Looks like your bean knew we went lake swimming - better watch out for her - she knows everything!... ** snicker ** and wasn't that a blast! I've never been lake swimming... it is amazing that one can dive anywhere. Buzz was really good don't ya think? We had such fun! Maybe we could hang out some - I'm yellow this AM too, so let's go surfin'! uhhhhh, can one surf on a lake? later !! ~~ Mannie

I had to laugh when I read tht Moonie's Mama doesn't know that she snuck out to
the party....should we tell? She might see the write up in Spot's condo though...

Yellow is mellow, but let's see some blues and greens today there Mr. Stu. Sorry you have to stay in the house today, but it is for your own good. To many big skerry things outside of the walls and you could get very hurt. Good thing your mama had some extra syringes laying around the camp so you are good to go!

Nice amps - maybe Stu can come down to blue and surf with Blackie and the other kitties. Blackie loved the bbq pork and said to tell Stu that he is the most awesomest chef ever!

Hi again, Mysterious 41 at +9. Stu had been sleeping on the warm, windy porch since +6, but the 41 really threw me. I gave him one teaspoon of 8% LC (Merrick, Granny's Pot Pie) and retested at +9.75, when his bg was a more "normal" 138. I have no idea what was going on, but his PMPS is 186, so I shot the normal amount: fat 1.50. Oh, and he threw up a large hairball right after the +9 test (but before I gave him the teaspoon of 8% LC). Does anyone have any theories to explain this afternoon's numbers? I might hazard a guess that Stu had a steep drop between +6 and +9 and that the 41 was on the way up and the 8% food just pushed the bg to where it would probably have been anyway at this time in the afternoon. Always something!!

Everyone have a good evening. Tomorrow I have to use the other syringes so there may be measuring issues!!

Ella, where was your meter? I left mine where the sun move onto it and warmed it up once. I got an error reading, but it might also do something wonky like your reading if it wasn't quite enough for the error.

Barring that, I guess Stu went .

oh will you look at that diving smilie... that one has Stu's name on it! Interesting with the 41, really out of whack with everything else today - maybe just a "bad" strip, or meter mal-function? I'm thinking it was maybe the strip? - then again I dunno.... maybe he did have that much of a drip from +6 to +9. :lol: :lol: maybe it's hairball conspiracy...

Sure does look like Stu had a great day. Wish I could say that about Mannie. The bouncer made an appearance here today.

It's a great smilie! Thanks!!! The meter was in the cool cabin, in a box, so the sun wasn't a factor. I hope it was just a fluke!

I guess the 41 this afternoon at +9 wasn't a fluke. Here we are at PMPS +4 and we're at 56! I fed a little 8% mixed with a little 3% and will test again at +5.

Well, the scuba diver was appropriate! I guess I'll be up a bit longer. Fed him some straight 8% at +5. Here's the recap. of the day thus far:
AMPS 256
+2 267
+4 197
+6 133
+9 41 (fed a teaspoon of 8% Merrick)
+9.75 138
PMPS 186
+4 56 (fed small amount of 8% mixed with small amount of 3%
+5 57 (fed large teaspoon of 8%)
