There is not too much I can say about yesterday - it was pink, it was yellow, and I hoped my blue and green kitty was hiding somewhere within those colors. :razz: I had hoped to hike yesterday, and well... it was Mannie's way of giving me permission, so off to hike we went, coming home to a semi-flat yellow cycle. I hoped it meant good things to come, and with a nice mid blue amps this morning perhaps that is what it meant. YAY!! I am relieved not to see pink this AM. Thank you Mannie! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand... he was out of sorts for a while last night, and I am not too sure what was up with that. Maybe it was just an "off evening". He seems fine this morning - full of purrs, hungry from breffis, up and about. :-D :razz: :razz: ok.... no kitty choir this AM: nada, zilch zippo. :shock: :shock: What is up with that? Not one bellow from the ring leader BJ.... or one back up meow form Mannie and Elsa... instead they were all waiting silently at the top of the stairs.... but hey!! We did have civvie whacking: Mannie let them all have it. The AM feed hierarchy was reestablished. :lol: :lol: Breffis was consumed with no complaints, clean plate club maintained: the president, founder and CEO of that group being satisfied with this morning's offering. :cool: :cool: After supervising my attempts at getting ready this morning, he wandered off to care for the nanners. It seemed they needed rearranging, and cuddles and chews and a few slobbers, so he did. Napping now in progress, on top of the pile. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D :-D

Have a great day everyone!! I am off for a haircut in a few, and then to DT Seattle early this afternoon to see friends. YAY! OT, and FWIW: hike photo link will be updated later this AM with yesterday's hike. It is with FaceBook, but should be visible to everyone...

Morning Michelle and much better day for Mannie. Sounds like a nice day with a haircut and getting together with friends. Have a nice time. What! No kitty choir today! Sometimes I don't get a wake-up call either! I think maybe the heat could be causing our kitty lethargic like behavior. Nice report on the civvie whacking and routines. Have a nice day.

I'm sure since civvie-whacking took place this morning, that Mannie will be back to his old green self soon!!! So the early morning serenaders took today off, huh? Hmmmm.....maybe saving up to really do it up big tomorrow morning!!!

Michelle, enjoy your weekly jaunt to Seattle and lunch with your friends, and a haircut (boy do I ever need a haircut, but don't have time to get one!) Mannie, Rusty is expecting you and the gang (and, if you get a chance, please tell that strong, mighty Tobey that canoes are paddled not rowed!!! And also that Auntie Ellabean still has gingersnaps).

Mannie looks like he is doing a slow descent to the greens -- I'm sure he will be reaching it by this evening. Sounds like you had a fun day -- haircut and visit with friends. What a nice, relaxing way to spend the day.

It looks like my civvie Cleo is enjoying her nanner like Mannie. I didn't think she liked it much, but last night, I was trying to sleep and I kept hearing some slobbering sounds. There was Cleo, hugging her nanner and slobbering all over it. Mannie would have been so proud of her. Simon could care less about the thing. Have a great evening.
