Jimmy most likely got low low numbers overnight and is coming down from a bounce. Do I stay with the 6.5 through it? I am preparing to monitor him overnight setting my alarm to do an overnight curve.

I don't see why not. He hasn't earned a decrease, and unless you get a preshot number you're uncomfortable shooting, there's no reason not to give the full dose.
FYI, your cycle count started over when you did the BCS of 6 units, so this morning is cycle three at this dose.
