If you want to stall, don't feed and test again. See if numbers are going up or down and make a dosing decision from there. I'm to new to help with that, but I know you have the option to stall without food to see which way the numbers are going.

Ah, okay. Well, I don't have much time before I leave, for work and Darwin was definitely looking for breakfast (for the last 45 min, lol); so he is eating now. Maybe I'll just skip and see how he does through the day...thanks.

Probably best and probably what I would do also. Better to be safe.

Crazy, crazy day at work with no lunch break. My sweet GF checked Darwin all day for me - she's a vet tech too, but has never done his BG's or insulin. SO grateful. Darwin was an excellent boy, and ate ALL of his canned food meals and snacks - YAY!

Going to set alarms, and check some nighttime levels. Anyone have suggestions on when the most important checks would be? He seems to dip around +6 to +8 or so....

the mid cycles are the most important, so + 6 is a good one, If you have time for a +1 or 2 before you head to bed that is good too to see if he will have an active cycle. Depends on when you are going to sleep :)

Thanks! I usually try and get a +2 or so before bed. Maybe even +3 today. But I think I'll shoot for mid-cycle otherwise. So curious to see what he does at night.
