Yesterday's condo

Hello LL!! China had a quiet night (I know this because she didn't move from her spot on my leg all night) and surprised me with a nice blue 160 at AMPS after a day of pretty much 300's yesterday. Mom on the other hand wasn't feeling too chipper this morning so after feeding the crew and giving China her shot, went back to bed

I guess I must have really needed the sleep because I hardly ever sleep more than 2 hours without waking up but slept 3 1/2 hours! Good thing I didn't sleep any longer because China had dropped to 35!! Got a couple teaspoons of HC food into her along with some of her regular LC stuff and will be retesting in a few minutes.

China never ceases to amaze me...just when I think we're getting somewhere, she throws me a curveball

Sending healing vines to those who need them, and hoping everyone has a wonderful day!

P.S...guess I'll be reducing China's insulin tonight :smile:

you sure are cool and calm with a 35 looming! I need to take notice of how you did that. a few teasp. of gravy and up she went......

Yeah Kelly! I was really happy about that! It's just so unusual for me to go back to sleep and even more unusual for me to sleep that long!

As for being cool and calm, I've just learned from these wonderful people what to do (and have done my share of 911 posts too!) so now if she does throw me a low number like that, I just grab either the syrup (she likes Log Cabin) or some HC food and give her a little...I know it'll take her up into some better numbers soon so the important part was to just get it into her quickly. If she didn't pop back up within 30 minutes, you can bet I'd be here screaming for help!!
