Nothing terribly exciting to report today! Trix's appy remains good, MamaBean still needs to hold the plate, Mr P still kicks it into gear when he's fed...all status quo. I can say that I think she is starting to feel more relaxed in her own skin. I know the p-titis really affected her in so many ways, and one of those ways is that she just always seemed tense and a bit jumpy - and she was never one to be startled by anything. I see her really stretched out and just more relaxed most of the time now, which is such a wonderful sight.
I really can't believe how many ways the pancreatitis caused havoc with Trix...it walloped her all around.
I survived having to go in to work for part of my day off yesterday, but it really did throw a monkey wrench into all that I had hoped to accomplish, and now with vending at the bead show this weekend, it will be a while before I can get back to things around the house. One thing I'm trying to do (in addition to caring for kitties and keeping up the house) is build my own side business, which is also bead and jewelry-based (I plan on making and selling components - clasps, earring parts, etc. They'll be made out of various metals, and treated in various ways, like enamels and inks, to produce unique colorations. Each piece will be one-of-a -kind.). Since chances are we are not going to re-sign the lease for the store (it expires in 1.5 years), I want to be fully up and running so my transition is quick and smooth. But, with very little free time, it has been very challenging to get anywhere with this! I was on a good roll yesterday when I had to put on the brakes and head to work.
Since I have the show this weekend, I won't be around much. I will try to post a quick Trixie condo before I leave tomorrow, but since I have to hit the road by 7:00am, I'm not sure if I'll have time. So if you don't see me, don't worry!
Have a great day, LL!
