Nothing terribly exciting to report today! Trix's appy remains good, MamaBean still needs to hold the plate, Mr P still kicks it into gear when he's fed...all status quo. I can say that I think she is starting to feel more relaxed in her own skin. I know the p-titis really affected her in so many ways, and one of those ways is that she just always seemed tense and a bit jumpy - and she was never one to be startled by anything. I see her really stretched out and just more relaxed most of the time now, which is such a wonderful sight.

I really can't believe how many ways the pancreatitis caused havoc with Trix...it walloped her all around.

I survived having to go in to work for part of my day off yesterday, but it really did throw a monkey wrench into all that I had hoped to accomplish, and now with vending at the bead show this weekend, it will be a while before I can get back to things around the house. One thing I'm trying to do (in addition to caring for kitties and keeping up the house) is build my own side business, which is also bead and jewelry-based (I plan on making and selling components - clasps, earring parts, etc. They'll be made out of various metals, and treated in various ways, like enamels and inks, to produce unique colorations. Each piece will be one-of-a -kind.). Since chances are we are not going to re-sign the lease for the store (it expires in 1.5 years), I want to be fully up and running so my transition is quick and smooth. But, with very little free time, it has been very challenging to get anywhere with this! I was on a good roll yesterday when I had to put on the brakes and head to work.

Since I have the show this weekend, I won't be around much. I will try to post a quick Trixie condo before I leave tomorrow, but since I have to hit the road by 7:00am, I'm not sure if I'll have time. So if you don't see me, don't worry!

Have a great day, LL!

Amy

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

YaHOO! We have a happy Trixie this morning. I could not agree more with the comment that P'titis whalloped her all around. it was the same for Mannie, changed so many things.

Good luck with your new venture! how exciting, ad kudos to you for panning ahead, to have all up and rolling before a transition is required. I hope too that you have a successful showing at the Bead Show. Good luck!

Have a great day. I hope all goes well. Trixie, you surf well today, 'K?

Re: 7/11 Trixie AMBG 152 "+3" 92

Maybe Marje's late night wish for a better AMBG did the trick! Whatever, how beautiful!!!

Now THAT is more like it Trix....keep inching thos PS numbers down!

AND...she ate half her first dinner serving totally by herself, with the plate on the floor! It's not much, but it is a start. I so hope the bead show tomorrow and me getting home a little later than usual doesn't throw her off nailbite_smile ....I'm such a worrier!

Woohoo! Trix ate from the bowl on the floor! :-D :-D :-D Paws crossed that everything goes smoothly tomorrow, with Trix and the show.

Hi Amy, so great to hear Trixie is eating for you-what a relief that has to be! Great numbers for her too, still so amazing how her pancreatitis kicks in, just amazing story! Good luck at your show this weekend! For many years I worked for a woman who did those shows, it was grueling!

More good news for Trixie. A relaxed cat is such a nice sight. And YAY for eating from her plate on the floor! I take it your DH never did make the stand for the plate that we talked about back when this whole nasty incident first started? I find Harvey seems to get an upset tummy less if I elevate his plate.

Good luck with the show. I hope it all goes smoothly. Wow on the future plans. You are very ambitious, and practical. I hope you get it all worked out, but I think you will.

Park the helicopter for the weekend, Amy. I'm sure a little tiny schedule disruption is not going to cause the train to dump the tracks. It's going to be fine. Honest!
