Upped Templeton's dose from 1.5 to 1.75 yesterday AM.
+3 367 +5 440 +6 523

So he's bouncing eh, or his body is getting used to the increase?

My question is, should I be doing anything to look out for the bounce breaking, in case he decides to want to go low overnight?
1. Do I just make sure to get a +2 after his PM I, and then if it is lower, get a +3, and that's it?
2. And if the +2 is significantly lower, feed MC then, because by +3 it will be too late?

Ok, it's four questions...


I've been reading people's spreadsheets and notes! @Liz & Minnie for hours because I've been so discouraged today. Learned so much, but now it's just making me have more questions to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.

We like questions. For real. It’s the only way to learn fd. It could be a bounce from a big drop last night. Your +6 today might be a high before the bounce starts to clear. Sometimes a flat yellow cycle is a sign of bounce clearing. Sometimes a steady decline through the cycle is a sign

Your plan above sounds good.
 
Minnie's on Levemir, not Lantus, so her spreadsheet will look different from Templeton's because Levemir takes effect later. Lantus onsets between +2-+4, whereas Levemir can onset around +4-+6.

Thanks for the reminder, I was mostly looking at her oodles and oodles of notes in her other spreadsheet tabs. GOALS.
 
Quite the drop from 385 to 263, but not enough to be concerning enough to feed MC as he's still quite high, just get another reading at +3 and go from there?
263 reading is +2.25 fwiw.
 
You needn't intervene with MC till he is in low double digits and looking like he will go below 50 without higher carb.
Later in the cycle, you can keep them surfing the 50s with LC.

Even though it is said they go lower at night? Which I am embarrassed to admit, I never asked why or researched.

Just got 167. +3.25. So stoked!

I can't nap sadly, I'll set an alarm and read a book. Oh, meant to ask you, can you see my notes on the spreadsheet? Sheets calls them "comments". I learned how from seeing your spreadsheet, oh spreadsheet wizard.

At night I put out the remainder of whatever can of food is already open. He will eat some of it, once he's decided it's eww, he wakes me up for fresh food. Generally buys me 5 hours these days.

Yup. Later in the cycle, even low carb can be enough :-)
