looks like we are back on the roller coaster again. sigh. however... we are getting to the end of the vial, this one started June 11..... although it's obviously still got enough 'oomph' in it to bring him down to the blues yesterday, but several people have said that they get erratic numbers at the very end of the vial. I will start a new one tonight.

Rupert BEBT as usual this morning. Hungry... just came in for his snack, so tested.. and got 385... so... another dive in progress but nice to see him away from the almost black number. will attempt to slow him down as best I can. grrr. show off!

Sorry you're having cause to sigh, Pip! I hope you manage to slow that drop - they do like to show off, don't they :-)

A new vial has a good chance and making a difference, from what I've seen in our years being members here. Hope it helps bring Rupert down a bit!

Hi guys .. definitely making his way down isn't he?? I always liked the idea of opening up a new pen for mocha .. I always had it in the back of my mind "that one" was going to be "the one" that she would go OTJ on :lol: Have a great day guys!

I hear ya! that's always in the back of my mind, as it is for everyone I guess. This will be the last vial in this five pack.. then I'll have to get more... sort of the idea that if I buy five more, it's going to be another five months... still... he IS doing better, hoping these last two bounces are perhaps his last 'hurrah'??

Rupert is doing a great job of bringing it down today. I like to think of a new box of pens as "OK, this is the one where she will make me waste the other 4 pens. ohmygod_smile " :lol: :lol: But, it would feel so good to be able to give them to another kitty who needs them! :-D :-D

Rupert, the action is down several floors, but no need to rush to get down there! Slow down some. He is clearing bounces fast, which of course is causing another bounce. Silly boy!

The one thing about having a big gulper, those little cartridges don't last nearly so long. I keep hoping we'll go down some and make them last longer. In the back of my mind, I know that there is a local shelter that has a diabetic kitty on Lantus, and I think a couple of the other cat rescue organizations do too, that is, if there isn't someone from LL nearby.

swoop into the green for Rupie, wonder if he went lower in between? hm, nice to see green, wish, as usual it wasn't so dramatic. but glad to see it anyway.

now thinking perhaps I'll finish off this vial after all (about three more days left in it).....since it does seem to be working.... then again, I leave Friday.. don't want hubby starting new vial in case Rupie over reacts...hm.. who am I kidding.. he's going to over react whatever I do! hm. maybe I'll use old tonight, new tomorrow that way I can decide what dose to give him for Friday (thinking of shaving to 2.0 even whislt I'm gone).
 
nice bit of blue surfing tonight. Had a heck of a job to get his test at +4.5.... he came down to the barn with us, like usual, made a bunch of stuff in the barn his.. very vocal and bouncy, ran back up the path to the house and then refused to come in for his snack and poke. Had to catch him on the deck stairs and carry him in and plonk him on his chair.. whereupon he shot off again... me chasing and swearing into the night.. cornered him by the side gate, picked him up and took him back in and sat him on the chair again, with one hand on the scruff and the other trying to get ear poke and him growling all the time.

methinks he's feeling pretty darned good. Hopefully he doesn't give hubby too much grief this weekend! silly Rupert.

glad to see he's cleared this morning's hideous bounce already AND that he doesn't *seem* to be skyrocketing back up .. yet.........
