I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Purrcie has been really lethargic since yesterday evening. Usually after dinner he takes a big nap and then wantes to start playing again around 9:30 or 10:00 PM. Last night he was just in this deep heavy sleep. I woke him up several times to get snacks and he eats good once he wakes up. Then he finds a place to go back to sleep. He's been like this all day today. He wanted to go out and did walk around a bit but found a place to lie down and back to sleep.

I'm wondering what is going on.

<---------I suspect he may have gone quite a bit lower here today when he was napping. I woke him up to get him to eat and he was ravenous! This 96 was an hour after he had eaten about 3-4 TBS of LC.

He's asleep right now on my bed. He doesn't seem to be in pain, just really tired. Yesterday and the day before he was outside alot, yesterday for longer than he has been in weeks, so maybe he over did it? It was nice and cool outside yesterday which was why he was allowed out for so long. It's been so hot he's had to stay in alot.

I hope Purrcie feels better soon. My cats sleep so much that it's hard to tell if they are lethargic or not. Hopefully he's just being a cat and sleep, sleep, sleeping.

Aww, poor Purrcie. He must have overdid it at the Luau today. I hope he feels better tomorrow.

No doubt he over did it at the Luau! He bragged about how may laps he did around the pool and how mannie was teaching him the back stroke. He said Stu grilled up the most wonderful mousekabobs he's EVER had, complete with pulled pork sandwiches.

I bet he was just playing too long and then filled up on niptinis!




He woke up to get his PMPS meal, groomed himself and is back asleep. I pray he is ok, I've never seen him sleep this much.

Well I found a hot squishy spot around the scruff area, so it looks like he has some kind of infection brewing there. So the Purr man will be going to see his vet tomorrow.

Hi Myla, Good thing you found the infection and good that you're going to the vet first thing tomorrow. Hope Purr man feels better soon.

Glad you investigated and found the hot squishy spot (eww?)... Good luck at the vet tomorrow, I hope it is something minor and goes away quickly.
 
Look at this +3 tonight! 46! I'm testing every 15 min. Gave a wee bit to eat between.
