Yesterday was a reasonably flat day (for Neko) followed by a lagoon dive at night. As a result, she is now visiting Pink Mountain in B.C., a small town near the Rockies.

Last night when I got home from a meeting, I could tell Neko was lower because she was lying down in the kitchen. I suspect her nadir was around +4 last night because she became visibly more relaxed then and started poking around her nanners and grooming. It's like she is nervous being low and going down and feels fine low if she is surfing or going up. And today I knew she was skyrocketing because she was whining early for her +3 snack.

This morning's cloud has been burned off, the sun is back, and Neko is out wandering the yard. Poor Theo is desperately searching the house trying to find his girlfriend. I'm sure she'll be back shortly to snooze but I know she does like "Theo-free" time. Earlier she was lying on the deck outside the solarium just enjoying being by herself. Those groupies can be tiring. :lol:

I hope Neko gets tired of Pink Mountain soon and slides back down. I'm sure she does enjoy the by herself time.

It's funny & cute how Theo misses Neko when he can't see her :-D

Neko had a great time outside today while I was picking raspberries and snow peas. She was "hiding" under a bush at first. Then DH came out and asked where Neko was, so I pointed her out. She meowed (like I'm a tattletale) then came out and DH got lots of leg rubs and we had a great purr session with the 3 of us. I love leg rubs, but for some reason DH is the one who gets them. :? I got a lot of pics of her outside, some of them potentially calendar material.

@Carla - The stay in Pink Mountain was a short one. Neko seems more affectionate when Theo's not around, but he always has to get in on the action if he's there.

@Mariko - It was a fabulous night for Neko. I hope she doesn't wait too long to do it again. Apparently Pink Mountains is a provincial park. The things you learn with Google. :lol: It was perfect weather for long hair kitties today. Theo loves his girlfriend, but it's not mutual.

@Anne - Neko got her bags packed but she's not telling me where she's going next. :lol:

Yum yum on the raspberries - the first crop from my bushes finished about 2 weeks ago, but I should be getting a second crop in early fall. I'm so glad I planted these! Finally got around to making jam this year - especially love the freezer jam :-D

Whew, coming down!

@Cathy - The FDMB calendar is a yearly fundraiser for FDMB. They make great Christmas gifts, especially with pics of you sugarkitties in them. :-D Raspberries are a great investment, they keep on going every year.

@Linda - She's on her way down. Maybe later for the lagoon or maybe a blue surf tonight.
 
Morning Wendy, Neko sure did have some pretty greens the other night. Your condo is very entertaining, and I enjoyed hearing of Neko's travels and her wanting to have Theo alone time. :lol: Neat with the purrs for her DaddyBean. Looks like a nice slide at the +4!!
