Yesterday's flatness.

We just got back from the specialty vet where Neko got bloodwork done. After increasing benazapril you have to check impact on creatinine, so it was time. I should hear results tomorrow. While there, Neko peed on a towel. Unfortunately it was one from the carrier so it's my job to clean it up. :rolleyes: It was just a tech appointment, I'll hear from vetty with the results.

Neko has her purr on today. No purr while first test, but I did get it for that +7. Of course, we were just in the door so she could have been happy to be home. I also got purr and "hurry up" mews while prepping breakfast. Been awhile since I have heard that.:cool:

I find it somewhat amusing that Neko pee's on the vets...but in another way feel bad for your girl cause she's likely not happy about the visit. Nice job with the purrs little girl, keep those going. Sending good BW vines!
 
Hey, is this a blue cycle I see going on here? Beats the heck out of those yellows she's been rocking. Good job, Neko.

I want to chime in and say "hope the BW results are great!" It's always so good when our kitties give us familiar little signs that they feel good. :)

I'm liking the hurry-up mews! And the peeing at the vet! Doesn't your vet give you a clean towel for her carrier?
Always nice to hear purrs as well :)
 
Blues and some gimmie food mews, even a few purrs tossed in for good measure. What a good day, excluding Neko missing the vet tech and getting the towel:) Keep that blue streak going Neko! Hoping for good results from the bloodwork.

Unfortunately the last couple of vetty visits have been around the time she normally takes a pee. When you gotta go, you gotta go. Next vetty visit is a urine protein/creatinie ratio test and I'll try to schedule that for late morning before pee time but still enough in her bladder.

Probably my bad - I had put the towel on top of the pee pad instead of under. :banghead: I had a spare towel I used for covering the kennel to stop her from seeing droolers, so they used that one in the carrier instead.
 
Fingers crossed on the bloodwork results . . . and I'm snickering here about her peeing on the towel (at least you have a washer!) and having a YIPPEE moment on her asking for food!

UPC ratio should be done on urine collexted via cystostentisis. Last time it was collected "free catch", ie. from the table incident, and vetty said it wouldn't be as far off as the amount Neko's increased.

Looks like I get to set an alarm. Neko had a good spin around outside after dinner. She hung around while I was mowing. She's had a lot more interest in going outside of late.
