Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! It's river day... we need FUEL!),and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza , are in teh midst of another experiment! Yesterday Lola was raiding the chips bin here... and it wasn't for snackin'! Bug wants to try and potato chip crust, and chip sprinkles and stuff. I thinks that is weird, but they, they have tied weirder things. My bean took a pic of Lola yesterday, caught her in the act of chip confiscation. so.... hmmmmmm.... anyone wanna try this pizza? I dunno.... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint chips, and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint candy chips. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts!

I hope everyone had a great day eysteday. Nicholas nad I sure did! We went tot he pool, swam our hearts out. We hiked the trail, picked as many berries as we could eat, headed home when someone's little legs were tired. We took a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg nap after all that. Nicholas was elated when he woke up and found that his grandpa had brought him a cheeseburger, fries and a fudge sundae. and YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM! HE ate all the fries (duh), most of the cheeseburger, and maybe half the sundae. What a lucky boy he was. As Nicholas said yesterday: "this is my lucky day!" yes little man, that it was. All grammie can say is SCORE! This is what I wrote about our day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! back from the pool. PHEW! The energizer FISH was just that: energized!  We stayed about 2 hours today, which is becoming the new norm. This was the first time since summer schedule started, and our access to the bigger pools has fallen by the wayside that Nicholas vocally expressed his displeasure. ;-) He wasn't mad, just disappointed, and kept asking to go swim in the big one. He could see kids in there, but didn't quite understand what lesson classes met, and why he couldn't do what they were doing too. Per the FISH: "What a bummer!" yes, it truly is. . So.... we made do once again, and still had a good time. Lunch was devoured as it alwyas is after a swims session. Once inhaled we were off on another trail hike by the pool, looking for more berries. The salmonberries are pretty much gone now, but we can still find alot of huckleberries. Blackberries are just starting to form fruit, so soon on those. All in all, a fun day at the pool. He's now down and out for the count, in a deep sleep/nap. I so love it when he tells me all the way home that he should stay awake, he's not tired and NO NAP!   this is more like it: I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) Sleep well little man" Here's the Picassa link: On the trail....., and Swimming!

Lola and Bug and Elsa are fine and dandy! Oddly enough I really don't have much to report.... Lola really did raid the chips bin, not so much for the chips as it was her wanting to walk the edge of the basket and the handle. I have this huge four foot wide basket that sits on the corner table that holds all the chips. She decided it was perfect for edge and rim walking. (photo is in the link)  I had an vetty appt for her last night to get the last of her shots on board. It was funny when I brought the carrier upstairs to get her "loaded up". Bug saw that and did this "NO WAY" dance: eyes were big, tail bushy, ears back. I told him ti was not for him. What was funny was that he looked at me, and all was cool and groovy once again, he sauntered off to the sofa. Lola did well at the vet, got her shot and home we came. Elsa was no where to be found. I am sure she heard that carrier and it was spiltsville for her. so.............. I think yesterday qualifies: normalcy in MusketeerVille. :-D

Have a great day everyone! It is Nicholas day again, and we are off to a river. At least I think we are: I need to make sure on today's weather. They say one thing, and we seem to get another.... So: weather verification before we head on out. I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!!

Wow, sounds like a great day for Nicholas! Berries, swimming, a cheeseburger AND a sundae?! Glad to hear the vet appt went well .. funny how uptight cat's get when they see the carrier, until they realize it's the other cat's problem to deal with

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Morning Michelle,

Love, love the Nicholas videos! My DGS is almost 2 y/o and it reminds me of the fun we have together. And it seems to only get better the older they get :-D Great under water video!!

Cleo also hates the carrier. DH says she becomes a spider monkey when we try to get her in it. I made her next vetty appt when DH is off also, so I am going to try holding her, wrapped in a towel, and just bring the carrier. Hopefully this will lower her stress level, and her heart murmur will sound better.

Have a wonderful day with your ray of sunshine :-D

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

I hope you found good weather without too much driving! But a little wet never bothered you or the Fish/

Elsa, perfect timing this morning! You were there right when I got up! Yummmmmm, those TJ dunkers were just the right though.

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

It sounds like you had a good day with Nicholas yesterday. That's funny on his reaction to the cheeseburger and fries. I hope you got to do something fun today.

Of course Lola wanted to walk on the rim of the basket. I'm glad her vetty visit went well. All of my cats run when I get the cat carrier out.

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Hi Michelle,
I'm glad Grandpa saved the day and Nicholas could go from "bummer" to "this is my lucky day". I sure wish they'd organize some time for the little ones in the big pool. Can't you tell them that all his "aunties" say he should get big pool time?  That's so cute that Bug knew he was good to go when you told him the carrier was for Lola. I wonder if her heart jumped in her throat when she heard her name. I'm glad all went well at the vetty's. She is sooooooo cute walking on the edge of the basket. I guess she's the LL version of the Flying Wolindas.

Elsa, whew!! Thanks you saved the day..again!! Energy drink and Mocha = one bean on the go!! xoxoxo auntiemary
Lola and Bug.... great pies with chips! Iced Mocha and pizza pie for lunch... yum!!! xoxoxo auntiemary

I hope you had great weather....i know you had great fun.
xoxo mary and ollie

Potato chip pizza sounds awfully good to me, Bug! Keep those creative juices flowing :-D !

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Yumm blackberries!! Now I gotta go take a look around here. That means it's almost time for home made blackberry ice cream. Elsa ought to try it in one of her creations.

I hope you had a great day there. It was just cloudy for the first half of the morning and cleared up before lunch today. Not too hot and a nice breeze. Perfect weather for river walking. Those pics of Nicholas in the pool would make anybody smile. Such joy! :-D

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Hi guys,
Another super day for you all. The pics are great. How old do kids have to be to begin swimming lessons? By the time Nicholas reaches the right age he'll be so far ahead of the others that they might have to put him in with the teenagers!

I hope you and Nicholas had a great river adventure today.

Elsa, thanks for that wake-up espresso this morning. The chips pizza sounds strangely good! We'll put in an order. Glad that Lola's vetty appointment went well and glad that Bug didn't have to go. (He's a smart cookie!)

Enjoy the evening, Michelle,

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Hi Michelle, that is such a neat place where you and Nicholas pick the berries. He is getting so big. Now I forget his age, three I'm guessing? That's too bad about the big pool not available but glad it all worked out and he was having fun. Oh that pic of Lola in the basket is hilarious. I think that's her basket now.
Hey Bug, potato chip pizza crust sounds good, go for it. Thanks Elsa for saving the day with to go coffee mugs, many thanks.
Have a great evening Michelle, and hope you can get some down time relaxing.

Re: 7/11 LOOSE LIPS: The energizer FISH: Back at the pool...

Good evening everyone! PHEW! What alonggggggggggg, but glorious day. Nichoals and I had such a great time. SO good that we were late in getting back home. I decided to head on out on Highway 2 and visit some of Nicholas's and my favorite places. We did Gold Bar river access to the Skykomish River first if only becasue the sun was there at the time. We pretty much had the place to ourselves until a couple of rafters showed up around noon. Little guy had a great time, just being a little guy. We did LOTS of sand and rocks and water play today, and ate ton of thimbleberries. I didn't realize that spot grew those, so it was a nice find. We found alot of them. Lunch was on the river, on a boulder hand picked by Nicholas. I had to laugh - it took him forever to find the one he wanted.  Napping followed shortly after that. He asked to head up to Skykomish where he could see the trains, and while enroute Sleep took over. DUH! He was very busty at the river. While he napped I went up to Beckler River, hung out there for a few so he could get some nap time in, and I could visit a place I really like... it was a nice way to spend 30 minutes or so. Very pretty there today. We went to Skykomish on the way home. It is a very small RR town nestled in the mountains. Of course, none went by ... he was OK with it,a s some were parked on the tracks, and those were just as good. Better luck with the moving trains next time. Interesting to me that he likes that town as well as he does. It was along day, but a fun one. I almost missed the connection with his dad, running behind, and bad traffic out of Monroe. oh well, all worked out OK, little guy had an fantastic day. "major good" as he would say. :-D

Thanks Linda, Ann, Ella, Wendy, Amy, Mary, Carla, Ann, Jane and Devon for visiting while Nicholas and I went to play. Forgive me for not answering each post individually. I am sooooooooooooooooooo tired! It was such a fun day, but a very long one. I still had to take care of daily chores when I got home, and wow... I am done. THX all for your comments - I have read them all,and thank you for everything. The carrier comments made me smile - it is so true! and the same here.
