Yesterday's Condo

I have no idea where that AMPS came from. I thought it might be a mistake (DH did not retest), until I saw the +2. Thankfully, he came down, but what was he doing up there in the first place?!
I didn't get to test him between +2 and +8, which was not intentional. I tested him right before I left to take Sasha to her radiation therapy. I made a couple stops on the way home, and as I was pulling into the grocery store parking lot, they called to say Sasha was waking up and I could pick her up in about 30 minutes. I did my shopping, took it home and headed right out to UCD. I didn't want to go any later because on Friday afternoons traffic on eastbound I-80 gets really, really bad (people from the Bay Area heading up to Tahoe for the weekend). I didn't even think to tell Mark to test Cinco when I popped in and out of the house. ohmygod_smile So I don't know if he went lower than that 156. He was very hungry at +8 so I did give him a little LC, which he inhaled.

Sasha did really well at her session again. She did throw up just a little clear fluid in the carrier, and then she peed! :o Poor thing was soaking wet when we got there. They must have cleaned her off, because she didn't smell when I picked her up. The student that brought her out said she ate almost all of the can of food (3 oz Wellness) again. He said that the anesthesia makes them hungry. She didn't want anything to eat last night, although I did coax her into eating a little right at her midnight cut-off time. Tonight, since she got her session done earlier, she was a little hungry when I fed the rest of the cats and ate about half her normal amount. I had them put her cosequin in the food they give her, since she isn't eating much at home. They took the catheter out and will put in a new one on Monday. She seems much happier without it. When it was in, she would stop every few steps and shake that leg, like she was trying to get it off, but I never saw her chewing on it or anything.

Minka sounds back to normal today, except for some sneezing this morning. I went ahead and gave her a Zyrtec after I heard that, but she hasn't sneezed this evening. Another 5 days of AB left, and she'll be getting every one of them! Gotta make sure this thing is gone.

Cinco was hollering at me just now, so I did his +5 test about 5 minutes early. He almost made it to the lagoon. I'll have to test him again before I go to bed.

I'm so excited that I don't have to get up early and drive to and from UCD the next two days! No doubt Sasha will be excited to actually get to eat breakfast and not get thrown in the carrier!

We have nothing special planned for the weekend. I really need to relax a little and put my foot up, and there are plenty of chores around here that I just haven't had the time and energy to do all week. I hope everyone has a good night.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG:

I'm glad Sasha's session went well execpt for the vomit and pee in the carrier. Poor girl. I'm sure she'll be happy to stay home for a couple of days, so will you.

That's good Minko sound normal. I hope everything is cleared up.

I hate it when they throw a pink number at us and we can't figure out where it came from. I'm glad Cinco is back to nice blues.

Take time to relax some this weekend. I hope your toe is healing nicely.

Hi Tricia, I know I'm not supposed to post on yesterday's condo, but somehow I keep missing your posts. Hopefully by now, Cinco is cruising in better numbers! Glad to hear that Sasha's session went well, despite the ride there, hope her appetite is better, and same for Minka and Harvey as well. You sound like you could use a restful weekend with your foot up and an adult beverage if needed, take care! :YMHUG:
