I forgot I had a doctor appointment to get my pain pump refilled today so it's going to be a crazy day. Had to push back China's shot by 15 minutes so I can get a +1 before I have to leave. Hopefully it'll give me some idea where she's going today so I can decide what to do with her. As much as I hate seeing her at 376 this morning, in a way it's comforting to know she's got a long way to go before she'd be in danger of a hypo. Going to leave some LC down just in case though
On a good note, I caught China preening today! I hadn't really realized until I saw her grooming that it had been a long time since I've seen her groom! I mentioned yesterday how much better her coat looked, but hadn't actually put 2 and 2 together until this morning.
Sending healing vines to those who need them today and hope everyone has a wonderful day...both kitties and beans!!
Hi guys .. sometimes on days like this it's kinda a relief to see them a little higher then usual .. when we know we can leave without worrying .. well, worrying tooooo much Glad to hear she is feeling well enough to preen! have a great day guys!
Well I have no idea what's going on...I'm pretty sure I didn't give a furshot this morning (I always check/feel for wet) and there wasn't any, but I really have No idea where China's numbers are coming from today
The only other thing I can think of (but this isn't what she usually does) is that sometime during PMPS she went a lot lower than the 102 at +5.4 and she's bouncing, but I've never seen her sustain a bounce at such consistently high numbers before
Re: 7/11 China AMPS 376,+1 374,+5.5 345,+10 343..FURSHOT??
Hi Chris,
No idea on why China is throwing these numbers, unless it could be a bounce? Did she get into any contraband?
It is so nice to hear how much better she looks, and how you see her preening again! It is the little things that make us realize there is so much more going on than just the numbers
Hope China comes down for you, a nice smooth slide

I think I'd put my money on a bounce. She could still be reacting to that 41 she had a couple of days ago, or she could have decided to have a late nadir last night. Bounces can take 6 cycles to go away. With my Neko, she usually has her worst numbers a few cycles after the low event.
On the upside, it's good she gave you permission to get out of the house for awhile today. And it's GREAT that she's grooming again. That means she starting to feel better.
There's no contraband for her to get into....The house was "sugar-cat proofed" after her Dx....it's a lot like child-proofing...crawl around on all fours so you get a "cats-eye view" of the house
If it's a bounce, it's not like any bounce she's had before...that's what makes it so strange...oh well, I guess I'll put it down to "she bounces fairly quickly after a low number, except when she doesn't"
Yes...it's the little things that I'm learning to appreciate....When you have a multi-cat household, you don't always notice those subtle changes...I just caught her grooming this morning and couldn't remember the last time I'd seen her groom, so knew she must be feeling better! I'll take any little victory I can at this point!
