I think it was Laurie and Mr. Tinkles who told me about 9 Lives Tender Slices with Real Beef and Gravy, saying it has a lot of gravy so it's easy to separate the food from the gravy when trying to get numbers up. I thought I'd try it and bought a four-pack for a whole $1.48 at my local Walmart. So here's Champ tonight, throwing me a lovely 41, so I grab that 9 Lives, open it, and there is loads of gravy. Champ thinks he's in heaven!!! Unfortunately for him, I just looked on Janet & Binky's food list and this food has 24% carbs!!!! 
Champ is very carb sensitive and I really only need to give him 13% to raise him up...very rarely anything more. I have a funny feeling his BGs may now climb kinda high...we shall soon see. He's had two teaspoons of it before I checked the carb count and he did go up from 41 to 56 in a half hour. I think I'll need to throw this food out! :sad:
