7/10 Shadow AMPS 115, +1.5 84, +2 74, +4 77

Great... +1.5 and Shadow is at 84- I need to leave in 30 minutes.

He still has a lot of time to drop.... I'll be gone about 2.5 hrs. Should I leave out food with some Karo mixed in... bring him with me in the cat carrier???

Help!

I think this is your call. How hot is it where you're going? Keeping a cat in a carrier in very hot weather is not an optimal situation. On the other hand, you will be able to monitor and you can bring along higher carb food if you need it.

It's in the 60s today... He will only be alone in the car for 10 minutes... it's the drive that's 45 minutes each way....
 
Shadow is doing fine. I left him for 2hrs... left him a can of food with 2 drops of Karo. At +2, before I left, he was 74. At +4 when I got home he was 77. I'm sure he dropped some in between, but he looks good now. Was happy to get an extra can of food today =)
 
I'd test at +6 or +7 if you get a chance. He's probably headed up with that food you gave him, but better to check around nadir time if you are home to do that.
