Another day starting in blue!
I switched to Levemir because it was suggested to me that it may help to flatten Osha out. Boy, they were right! I am super pleased with her results on Levemir! On Lantus, Osha would most likely go light green on a day she started out in pink. I never could feel comfortable with her and it certainly makes working a challenge. Osha's spread sheet on lantus was a rainbow. I never felt like I could predict anything she would do. It felt like playing the slot machine every day.
I decided in the spring I was going to switch, but I waited until I was on summer break so I could monitor the change. Not only is she flatter now, but she is using less insulin. It has been a win/win situation. I just hope the flatness and the consistency continues.
Have a great Monday!

It's incredible how flat and consistent her cycles have been since switching to Levemir! What made you decide to switch? Seeing Osha's response makes me wonder if I should switch Chino to Levemir when we run out of Lantus.
was thinking the same thing for when I go back to work.
