I'm pleased to say that Max's appy is back!! However, he woke me at +10 and I gave him a handful of fd chicken. At that time he was 116 and he jumped up to 174 by AMPS. Most times that I test at that time he seems to jump from +10-+12.

I wonder if he dropped again from +6 or that was his nadir? I fed him mc at +4 and +5 which likely prevented a dive but may have been too much. On the other hand maybe he won't bounce this way? If he stays like this it would be good for him though. His numbers weren't this good before diabetes.

So I have no idea what was wrong yesterday.I was sure he was having a panc attack. Maybe too much fish oil? I did stop it a few days. I think I will add it back but at a much smaller dose and see what happens and gradually increase. For his size he should get .75 so maybe .25? It was helping his coat.

Looks like perhaps an active cycle. I had to let my friends go to the Nordstrom sale without me. I have a small foot, size 4 and we have a salesman that gets all the shoes for us in our size. My friend is a 4-4 1/2 . So she will have to shop for me. If Max lets me I'll go to the local store to see if there are any shoes I want that she takes for herself. Why couldn't he have bounced today? I guess he doesn't want me to buy too many shoes.

Wahoo on Max's appy being back - you must be relieved! It is so worrisome when the won't eat.

I'm not sure about the MC question...Trix was never a huge bouncer (she was a small bouncer, though), but his cycle last night looked quite gorgeous, so I think you certainly did good!

Size 4 shoe? Wow...tiny feet :smile: !!! That must be challenging - it's great you've got a "connection" to order shoes in your size! Max....MamaBean can never have too many shoes - you don't need to keep her home today!

Well Max keeping me home is causing me to order too many shoes. My friend buys everything so not being there she is coaxing me to buy way too much. It's okay because thank goodness Nordstrom has the best return policy. I just take too long to decide and get carried away when I have so much to choose from, LOL. They only order a few in my size and he as to have most sent to me.

He ate again at +2. He really likes the S&C tummy tucklin turkey by the way Amy. Did you get to try it or the chicken yet?

I'm a boot addict myself....they are now filling 3 closets here, and the spillover of my favorite pairs are always out in the laundry room floor. I've gotten VERY skilled at getting excellent deals through DSW. I cash in cashback bonus from my Discover card ($45 because a $50 DSW gift card!), use a coupon or two (it pays to have a DSW card), wait for the "Spend $125 save $40 email" to come in, and I am set. The best I've done so far is getting 3 pairs for a total of $7.00 cash out of pocket! It's like a game now...how cheaply can get boots for? I wish I was able to shop like that for everything we need!

I haven't gotten back to the Ma and Pop store that had the expired single servings yet, so I don't know if they restocked them. They were out of the full sized chicken at that time, too, but I definitely want to try a sample before committing to the big bag. But for whatever reason that I'm not arguing with, Trix is being an awesome little glutton these last several days anyway!

Max decided to dive like I thought he might. I fed mc like last night and hopefully that will keep him surfing and not go down any further.

Yes, Anne, and just in time as he has dropped to 47. It's the second time so one more to go before the mandatory reduction. He just got mc+karo and I'll check again in 20 minutes this time.

I understand your issues with the small foot. Mine aren't small, but they are narrow. When I was growing up, it was virtually impossible to find any shoes that were stylish for my age group that would fit me. I had to wear "old lady" shoes. :sad: When I got older and would find a shoe that fit that I liked, I would buy it in every color. Eventually, I had more than 70 pairs! Then arthritis hit. It was exacerbated by the fact that I would buy shoes a size too small so they would stay on my foot when I couldn't get them in narrow. I had to get rid of about 45 pairs when I had my first foot surgeries 16 years ago - can't wear anything over an inch heel. I can wear an inch high one for an hour or so, as long as I don't walk much! I now have about 20 pairs of lace up shoes - mostly athletic style. Good thing we don't dress up much in Northern CA! :lol:

I hope Max surfs safely the rest of the day, and that you get some great deals from Nordy's!

Nordy's deals aren't as good as they used to be but it's the only time I have a huge selection to choose from.

It's been 45 minutes since he was last fed and he is up to 75 so unless the karo wears off I think he is done dropping. I'll check again to be sure though.
