Yesterday was..... hmmmmm..... I got the fuds dance for dinner pmps day! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D That was just the bestest ting ever too see. He ate all fuds on his own, with no prodding or encouragement of BF and "Please eat, Mannie" - well at least for the PM cycle. The AM cycle took a little work, but he did eat, with minimal BF added. He's seems to be tolerating the Panacur better too, which is nice. He's been very good about letting me get that whopping big dose all in him: it takes a couple of short small squirts, and down the hatch. PHEW! Now if I could just do something about having to wash and "sanitize" his butt ( :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: ) twice a day I'd be sooooooooo happy! LOL: but I'm so thrilled with that aspect of his getting rid of this nasty parasite.... That too he is tolerating very well. GO MANNIE! You so totally rock. Lubs you lots too big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I really have little clue on what he did yesterday. I had gone on a day hike when it was clear he was holding court on the yellow floor. The weather was so nice that I figured I might as well go when a permission slip had been given. He was, as he is with all these day absences, glad to see me when I got home. I was greeted at the top of the stairs: purrs and a few head butts, and that squinty eyed look he gets when he thinks he is the cat's meow. :cool: :cool: :cool: :lol: Yes Mannie - you are darn cool. :razz: :razz: :cool: The evening was a good one for him: lots of nanner napping, a few excursions onto the deck, followed by more nanner napping. All indeed is well in MannieLand. ;-) :razz: :razz: This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, again :shock: , and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Despite all that I will still say: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Hey everybody! WOO HOO!!! I thinks we need another beach day. one with fun int he sun, and....we need to start planning. WonTon is about to go OTJ for real, and we gots to plan. Maybe we could do another clam bake, or just grill. I up for more kite flying too as long as Vyktor doesn't try to use the kites as a parasail. heeheeheee: that was so funny! I can't say I envy you the butt washing (or the medicating for that matter!) but Mannie is being such a good boy for you :-D and what a lovely blue start :-D :-D

Morning Serryn - oh yes, the butt washing is such fun.... and the meds.... but he was such a good boy about it all yesterday. Sometimes I think they know when we are trying to help them. I sure do like that amps too - I hope he can surf this. WOO HOO!, and paws crossed!! :-D

Looking at the pic of the river, it's very rough? Yesterday, when the sky was clear in HK, a team of school teacher with students went hiking in our natural park. Suddenly there was a huge flow of water rushed down & 2 people were drowned. This is not the first time this kind of tragedy happened. :sad: Very scarry.

Hi Helen - how tragic for those students. Those kinds of floods are so scary. This river is very fast, rough, most are quite high too as the mountain snows begin to melt. And oh yes, I am very careful when and where I hike. That is for sure!! One must respect the water. Definitely.

Hi Devon - Yay - he did just that: brought it back down. It is nice to see the mid level blue this morning. Getting back into the groove. :-D and yes on the doing - amazing that he tolerates the butt washing.... what a guy. :cool: :razz:

I dunno on the other stool sample, one of the items I need to ask before he goes in. I know I need to get one here after the meds are done, about a week or so later to see if we took care of things or not. oh hooray on that. :roll: oh yeah on the shave.... poor Mannie! all that glorious fur.... well, at least I won't have mat issues there for awhile! :shock: :lol: :lol:

Tess - sounds so so cool! I am so ready! I been eating alot of soup :shock: but it is good and I feel so much better. I will bring some with me today - after all you gots the catmint crisps: perfect for dunkin'. WOO HOO - let's roll! ~ Mannie

Beautiful pictures from yesterday's hike, Michelle. Are all of these close to where you live or do you have to drive a little ways to get there. (Wondering just how jealous to be. ;-) )

Don't envy the medicating and certainly not the butt-washing...oh, the things mama's do for their babies....

Hi Libby - thanks it has been a good day for him. So So nice to have a solid blue one. :-D Thanks on the pics - this location was an hour and a half drive. So relatively close. I don't mind the drive - the route is a scenic one, so enjoyable too. oh yes on the meds etc. He's doing ok with both - hope the meds go as well tonight as they did last night. :shock: :? :cool: :cool:

Hershey - I KNOW! I told her not to write about that and look what she did.... I am so embarrassed.... :oops: Oh well, I guess she is just trying to help me. No Prob on the parasailing - we can go together and I will show you -it is SO FUN! You will lubs it! ~~ Mannie

Yo Mannie, you're doing all you can to nab that nasty parasite. Do you want more chicken soup? I can cook up a batch. I am so happy to see blue again in Mannie's condo. Way to go Mannie! Make your bean happy and safe enough to get things done.

Butt washing, hmm - what to say? I remember a little Burmese in the shelter who was incontinent because his tail got run over (we think) and was found as a 6 week old kitten. 2 bum washes each day and he got used to it, but that was a short haired cat. Can't imagine it on a long hair. Good thing he doesn't have a fancy plumy tail. Mannie is going to have an interesting look once he gets his tummy shave for his U/S. Good thing it's summer.

Hi Wendy - oh me too on the blues - so so glad! and oh yes on the bum washing... he seems to be getting sued to it. Not a huge fan but he does OK. I can hardly wait to see what he looks like after his shave. :shock: part of me thinks: yay those perpetual mats will be gone, for a bit, but he will look so so interesting....

What a nice blue day for Mannie. Poor boy on the butt cleansing each day! We had to keep tobey bathed, too, so he didn't get any of the cysts on his coat.

Two more days...I know you are anxious to get it over with.
