Good Morning LL!!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (HURRY Elsa!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT!! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza , were so busy yesterday with the Tuna Tuesday Pizza Pies that they have decided it should be an every Tuesday thing. Yahoo! So now we have Cheery Cherry Monday, and now Triple Tuna Pies on Tuna Tuesday. How cool is that! I guess they made lots of pies for the KTSS crew too. I likes that, alot. so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint chips, and cimmamum and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with choco drizzle. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts!

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. Mine was a good one, nothing exciting, so WOOT on that. Our weather was great after a little morning clouds. We ended up in the low 80's, with lots of sunshine. It was a perfect day to be out, so I was glad, almost, for the required trip to the dentist, time out with my son, and a freeway park walk. Here's what I wrote in last nght's post: "Hi everyone! well.. survived the dentist! YAY! It was just a cleaning, so good to go. I decided to walk through Freeway park on my way to catch the bus home. It is a 3/4 block by 3/4 block city park that sits over the freeway that runs though town. It actually is a very nice place. A few years back it was being overrun my Seattle's down and out population, and just wasn't a very nice place, or gave one a sense of safety. None of the waterfalls and the pools were working then, things were kinda falling apart. It was great to go today and see only one bench sleeper, and all the waterfalls were working. What a turnaround. It was so nice to wander through the park, take in some sun, watch the waterfalls do their thing. Very nice. Breffis with my son was good too - it always is. I enjoy the time, and glad he does too.' Picassa link: Freeway Park, and Breffis with Anthony

Elsa and Lola and Bug were, for the most part, good kitties while the bean was away yesterday. Elsa slept the day away in the cool of the basement, met me when I got home, hollering to be let out. Seems she too wanted to partake of the sun. She is alot like Mannie in that regard: LOVES the outdoors, laying in the sun, rolling in the grass. It is nice to watch her, as it so reminds me of Mannie. He loved his yard. Lola and Bug met me at the door again when I got home, such a good greeting committee. Bug wanted his dinner early. He grew tired of waiting while in the kitchen and had drug all the kitty toys he could find there.  Must have been fun, judging from the scattered mess. Lola, well Lola looked like she was.... well... thinking trouble! Hmmmmm.... seems she had dug up one plant, scattered the dirt on the floor, and had also demolished a box of Kleenexes. It couldn't have been one of the small boxes, nooooooooooooo! it had to be one of the big 360 count boxes. Tissues were everywhere: ripped into itsy bitsy tiny pieces.... :-x      Can I say normalcy in Three MusketeerVille? Guess so...as it really is kinda normal..... ;-) I wonder what they will do today.....

Have a great day everyone. I will have Nicholas for today, and we will head to the pool for a swim day, and more than likely more berry picking after that. My DD will stay at home with William. Sometime soon she will come and bring William up for one of our swim days. I'm hoping soon. AND (!!) I forgot to ask what Nicholas thought of the salamanders. I hope I can remember when I pick him up today. :-D . I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES!: Think BLUE!!, Think GREEN!!

I'm sorry, Michelle....once again, I had to laugh at Lola's choice of activities for the day! You need to set up kitty cams all over the house, so you can catch her in action. I can only imagine the joy she experienced while battling that box of Kleenex. Just like my Frankie, Lola sounds very creative...and yes, it will always be a challenge trying to stay one step ahead of her  ! Welcome to your new normal    !

Have fun with the Energizer Fishie today!

     Lola      !
She reminds me of a kitten, getting into everything.
Too cute with Bug bringing his toys to the kitchen ~ much less subtle than Lola, but still making a statement  .

Enjoy your day, Michelle!
Thanks for the coffee treat, Elsa! mmmm

   Lola and Emma really are a pair. Emma got into the stash of paper towels and there are fang mark and chunks torn out of every roll! The dryer sheet lost their box too!

Happy berry picking!

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

Hi everyone! back from the pool. PHEW! The energizer FISH was just that: energized!  We stayed about 2 hours today, which is becoming the new norm. This was the first time since summer schedule started, and our access to the bigger pools has fallen by the wayside that Nicholas vocally expressed his displeasure. ;-) He wasn't mad, just disappointed, and kept asking to go swim in the big one. He could see kids in there, but didn't quite understand what lesson classes met, and why he couldn't do what they were doing too. Per the FISH: "What a bummer!" yes, it truly is. . So.... we made do once again, and still had a good time. Lunch was devoured as it alwyas is after a swims session. Once inhaled we were off on another trail hike by the pool, looking for more berries. The salmonberries are pretty much gone now, but we can still find alot of huckleberries. Blackberries are just starting to form fruit, so soon on those. All in all, a fun day at the pool. He's now down and out for the count, in a deep sleep/nap. I so love it when he tells me all the way home that he should stay awake, he's not tired and NO NAP!   this is more like it: I-) I-) I-) I-) I-) Sleep well little man.

Hi Amy - Lola is such fun! I had to laugh too, even with the mess. I Should get some of those kitty cams - now that would be entertainment! :-D Me too on the kleenex - it had to have been fun. THX on teh new normal welcome. love it!

Hi Josie - Oh yes on Lola. She just tired one, so in a way she still is kitten. Oh yes on Bug too - it form of hey! i can play well too.
Auntie Josie - you re so welcome!! ENJOY!! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Pam - they are! I couldn't agree more with that one! We did on the pool and berries - FUN!

Hi Ann - I think they are twins in a parallel universe. They seem so much alike. OMG on the paper towels! Oh what fun! i love the dryer sheet one. what fun it all is. :-D :-D :-D Berries were GREAT! HE can find the most hidden obscure one too. ;-)

Hi Michelle, oh that Lola   she make me laugh with the Kleenex. Glad you had Nicholas had a great time. I remember picking huckleberries as a kid. Glad breffifs with your son was fun, too. Now you can rest with the kitties tonight or let them entertain you.

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

Well I think Lola and Bug can do a theme day every day!

Wednesday can be Wacky Wednesday - where anything goes, especially crazy concoctions!
Thursday can be Tempting Thursdays - where they make a sumptious tempt tasty pie
Friday can be TPIF - Thank Pizza it's Friday pies - where they make a "blue plate" special

hmmm might be something?

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

Hi Michelle,
Sounds like a great couple of days. Congrats on your good teeth! Seattle is certainly not the Seattle I remember from the early 1960s! I spent a lot of time studying in coffee houses! I rode my bike to the university because I couldn't afford the bus. It rained all the time!!

I'm glad that Nicholas is still having fun in the pool even though the big pool is off limits. Only a few more weeks, Nicholas! When school starts, you get to go back to the big pool.

Have a fine evening. I wonder what Lola has in store next? Do you know the song "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets"? It seems to fit

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty (who got another fur shot today, poor kitty)

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

It sounds like Lola has a blast when you're not home. It's too bad she can't help you clean up the mess. I'm glad you had a good pool day with Nicholas.

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

Bummer on the restrictions from the big pool, especially since Nicholas is a BIG brother now.

Yummy on the beverages. The new fur kids seem to be settling right in. Mannie says so. :YMHUG:

Re: 7/10 LOOSE LIPS: a day in Seattle, amongst other things.

Hi Kathie!! It's great to hear from you. I am so glad that you are continuing to visit us. I so hope all is well with you. Many hugs! THX - it has been a good one here. I so love these new cats; they are a ton of fun! THX on the FISH! :-D

Hi Ann - I so agree on Lola, I laugh alot with her. Even Nicholas does! Yes on today - Nicholas so looks forward to doing these berry hunts. We are lucky that teh trail by the pool is loaded with all kinds of berries. YUM! I could not agree more on tonight: rest!, plus kitty entertainment. SWEET!

Hi Hillary - LOL, and that could be the ticket: theme day. ;-) I love those ideas! especially the Friday can be TPIF - Thank Pizza it's Friday pies !   This has possibilities. now if that can be remembered!

Hi Ella - It has been fun. Oh yes, Seattle has changed alot in that amount of time. BIG TALL buildings now. Remember when the Space Needle was the tallest building in town? At least we still have all those coffee houses! and bikes do rule here, in alot of places in city. Me too on the pool: i am so glad that he still is having a good time. He ,misses the big one, but seems, most of the time, to accept what is. YES!!: Do you know the song "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets"? It seems to fit  IT DOES FIT!   -- oh no... another fur shot for Rusty? sorry.....

Hi Carla - oh yes on Lola - she can have fun anytime, any place. bean or n bean.  I agree on the mess....  THX on DGS - it was great.

Hi Anne - I agree on that darn pol! all due to summer lessons, swim league,a d summer camps. they take over all of the pool. ARGGHH!! but so it goes, happens every summer. well next year he will have the option of lessons,so - it should be better. though right now, he isn't complaining too much. I think so too on the settling. And I will alwyas LOVE that saying: Mannie says so. It warms my heart....
