Overnight last night we had a +6 of 107 and a +8 of 121 so I suspect this morning’s ikky amps is a bounce. So now we know he bounces on Lantus too
So I kept his dose at 2 units today and we’ll hope this doesn’t take long to clear.
Take heart! This is, as far as I see from Asher's SS, his very first week on Lantus. Give him a little while to adjust. It's ok to see a bit of wonkiness after an insulin switch. Keep in mind that he's had the first blue numbers in a few days, which is a good thing, to give Mr. P a bit of rest.
I see you've had a tricky time of it. You've done a fantastic job keeping on monitoring. That in itself is a triumph! Try not to worry too much about that bounce, ok? Give it a bit more time.
We're back from the Falls after three and a half years - it happens. Keep breathing. I checked out your blog with the photos - your cats are gorgeous! And so is your hair Mine's very curly too.
We live in South Africa so our timing is different to a lot of of the others on LL. But we're here right now if you need to check in.
Not to worry, Donna. He'll clear this bounce soon enough. Kittys can bounce on a dose change, and/or food change as well. Hang in there, and don't get discouraged. :YMHUG:
It is so funny, I never saw the thing at the bottom with your pictures in it!!
after how long?!?!?!
I am learning so much on this site
anyway...I have the same hair as you too!
and you are amazing with a camara!!
and dont worry about ASher, he will be in awesome numbers, no bouncing before you know it!
