Morning everybody. Are you ready to party? Today is Tori's 14th birthday. Her brothers are outside setting up the backyard for the festivities. They are so excited. They love their big sister so much and want this to be her best birthday ever. We even have fireworks planned to top off the evening. So it's going to be a late night. It can even turn into a sleep over if you like.

Tori had a real good breakfast without the help of the Metacopramide and is now resting watching the Wimbeldon Tennis . She's a big fan just like her Mom. I lived a 20 minute walk away from the tennis courts back in the days when I lived in England and worked at Atkinson Morley's - a neurosurgical hospital there. We got free admission if we accompanied some of the rehab patients to the matches. Who could refuse? he says she's all ready to go and can hardly wait to see all her kitty friends.

By the way if you're interested I posted on Community this morning with the story of how Tori chose us and how she got her name.

Thanks for sharing that adorable story. I remember when I first got Kasha, I thought I would never be as attached to her as I was to the cat I'd grown up with... Clearly I was wrong!!!!

I think I just saw Purrcie pull in with the catillac. There were so many kitties in there with him, so excited to come over to Tori's party, all I could see were paws and tails and balloons and presents and catfetti!

Purrcie said before he left that he was sure this would be a party Tori would remember furever. He thinks she is so cute he is going to ask her to go to Purrsia with him some weekend. He's not pawsitive she will say yes but maybe she would like Pawtugal better!

He brought some CDs for the party:

Cat's in the Cradle
and Year of the Cat to name a few.

Looks like I'll be up late waiting for him to get home!

Well the party is in full swing. To be honest I've never seen so many happy crazy kitties in my life. Right now they are all in the back yard having dinner. Everything looks so delicious. The birthday cake is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much guys. All the girl kitties are dressed in their finest dresses and all the guy kitties look so handsome.

You should have seen the neighbours when Purrcie drove up in his pink catillac. They were all outside having a look. They've never seen anything quite like that before. And they thought we lived in a quiet neighbourhood.

The music is blaring now and the dancing has begun. Some of these kitties can really move!

Around midnight all the kitties are going to go to my work. The hospital is right downtown and my ward has a great view of the fireworks that go off at city hall. They'll have to be quiet though because all the patients will be sleeping. Security knows we're coming and promised to let us in.

Tori just ran up to me and jumped in my lap. She wants to thank all the Beans for letting their kitties come to her party. She says it's the best birthday party she has ever had and she will never forget it and that she loves you all and so do I.

Have a good night everybody. Your kitties are safe with me. Thanks again for making Tori's birthday so very very special.

And no, i'm sorry to report that all that green stuff is NOT catnip at Wimbledon. But they do serve strawberries and cream! I bet your mum would let you have some cream for your birthday!
