WCR: Most Ps in place. She's been very snuggly lately. I've been focused on the "more pets, less worry" mantra, lately. :joyful: She had a scarf n' barf episode this morning. Something told me that she was going to do it...and she was two feet from the tile floor. Currently, she's resting on my lap. I moved her fluffy blanket to the opposite side of me and now she wants to be on my lap all the time. Silly girl.

OT - sister's kittens: Diarrhea is still ongoing. She's on day 3 of Baytril to treat "possible" secondary infection after coccidia was knocked out w/ Marquis Equine Paste. The ABs they've been on so far (since last Tuesday): Albon (Tuesday - Friday); ClinDrops/clindamycin hydrochloride (Friday - Monday); Baytril (Monday - present). Vet does not want sister to start them on FortiFlora until diarrhea is cleared up because he doesn't want to change anything other than the antibiotic to get things cleared up. Ok, well, they've had diarrhea for at least a week and a half; they've been on 3 different ABs; currently, no signs of coccidia...can we please address their poor, little GI tract which has been put through the ringer?!?!?!:oops:

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

I'm getting so frustrated with that vet!!! What makes him think a secondary infection is going on? Do they have high WBCs? Doe he not know that ABs mess up anyone's digestive system?? And they DO need a probiotic to get their bellies back in order. Can your sister take them to a different vet? Argh - poor babies!!

Yay for Shasta snuggles!!! Have a great day, Deborah!
