Morning LL...Happy New Month! :mrgreen:
Shadow are breefis well and is now enjoying some catnip with his sister. There is a slight break in the numbers but not enough really. Wondering how long I should wait before going back to the last dose 1.0u. Not all Ps in place as yet, but the preening and purring certainly are present! Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

Hmm. My first reaction was to say go back NOW! But how can 1.00u produce a BG of 26 and the .75u produce stinky pinky? It must be his liver over reaction again. I mean 26 is definitely bounce worthy so we shouldn't be surprised to see this at all. Just how long the bounces lasts is the question.

Today will (I hope) give us some more information, but to be honest I wouldn't want you to wait too long before going back to the previous dose. I'm glad you haven't done it yet, though. Today's info can be important.

Thank you Carolyn...I really had to control my strong urge to shoot the 1.0u. But, just as you thought, I decided to see what the day brings. Thank you guys for stopping in to visit....I appreciate it. I have an airport run at noon so I am done posting in condos for awhile. See you later good buddy! :mrgreen:

Well, I was supposed to deliver DN and his family and friends to the airport....I thought I would be leaving a dropping Shadow home alone. nailbite_smile (that's why I fed the Wellness Core as opposed to gravy~I wanted a little more to keep him up than just the LC. He ate a lot of it although he had just eaten his LC snack at +4. Guess it worked at bringing him up instead of dipping lower.)

DD to the rescue! :mrgreen:
She will drive my car while DH drives the other car....8 visitors returning home so 2 vehicles were needed.
Now, I can relax with Shadow and be here for him if he needs me.

Ok. Just now realized what a great job he just did. :shock: Wow Shadow! Delayed reaction, but WOW!

I just have to share this here. I have a new pet and my cats are afraid of her! My hands are killing me from digging worms all morning, but isn't she cute! Here's PAULA

Spooky found her on the stairs leading to the cellar, he was scared of her, so i rescued her and she is going to stay with us for a few days. She eats about 50 worms a day! And some bugs and whatever else i can dig up in the compost pile. :cool: Check out those digging claws. Yes she is blind (almost no eyes) but when i go out and "squeak" at her she comes running and waits for me drop the worms. She is pretty round so either she's well fed or she's gonna have little ones.

Hi Pat, I didn't know that Shadow was a cliff diver. :mrgreen: I guess that new dose isn't so bad after all. LOL Just when you think you have a clue, the kitty changes course. I'm really glad that Shadow cleared that bounce and that you didn't have to leave him. Have a great day.

NIce to see Shadow's AMPS was just an icky bounce and he's back on the sliding scale. As long as Shadow doesn't go crazy on us again, no more scary #'s .

I actually think Paula is cute, and it's adorable that she comes running when you squeak at her. :-D

I felt it was like an ant on an elephant~~no measurable consequence~~~.75u against those ugly numbers.

I'm so happy it turned out this way for today. Now I can finish what ever the heck I was trying to do here. I've been so distracted and worried about crazy Shadow. Silly me.

Ok, we'll just keep being surprised and see what's next for the Shadow. You might have to fatten the dose or something if he really is running out of steam before the end of the cycle. (I'm trying a dose threat here... are you reading this Shadow?)
 
Maybe Shadow has been throwing it around at night when I am napping...I better put it in a safe place. :o (I actually bought a 2nd one the other day & used it to double check some numbers today cause they were just so strange... LOL)

I hate these highs at both ends of the cycle. We shall see what happens tonight. If he not going lower during PM cycle and is in pink in the morning, do you think I should raise him back to 1.0u and see if that gives him a little help? If his pancreas doesn't like the added stuff, it will show us soon enough.
Maybe I will do that. (he will probably go to 50 and then back up to pink again....knowing HIM)

I agree with your plan. See how he does and where he is tomorrow before AMPS. You may decide to shoot him back up. It's possible he still had some 'shed' action to take him low earlier, but today's action... I don't know... it seems like he had enough time on this dose to be acclimated. Maybe not. Ahhhh blubbity bloopity blabb. I'm at a loss for words. Coherent words, that is. :lol:

Hi Carolyn....they stayed at my DSIL's apartment. She comes down two months at a time twice a year, so her place is vacant. It was her son and his family and friends. So, they weren't technically visiting in our place. Whew! :mrgreen: Thanks for stopping by tonight... :YMHUG:
