Lucy left us and this world all too soon. Since learning of her passing on Monday, I have tried to write, but words come slowly, between the tears and multitudes of memories, both joyful and in the midst of crisis.
(((Andrew and James))), Thank you for your mom and for thinking of us all here. May the coming days be gentle for you both and that knowing how much your mom was loved brings comfort and strength.
Despite Lucy’s own worries and challenges, she always brought, had the most gentle touch in each moment, kindness of caring, lightness of spirit, to each of us in our times of joy and times of being lost, in the midst of loss or its imminence, that helped us to get through that moment, that crisis, that loss, whether hers or ours...together.
(((Lucy))) This world was a better place because of you. As much as I mourn that you are no longer here in this realm, I find much comfort in knowing that your white light of being shines bigger and brighter than ever, that you have been welcomed with open arms and paws along the way and across the Bridge by one and all, and that you are showering all the GA’s with the love and care that you’ve shared with us and them in this life.
Fly high, dear friend, land softly and please give all of our GA’s tons of hugs, head butts and scritches for us.
