Yesterday was pink and yellow stripe day. :? But I won' complain. Mannie had a great night of blues and green the night before. That was great, and we accept and deal with the bounces. Come on down Mannie - the waters are great in the lagoon. We hope he will clear this one soon. GO Mannie! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D YES!! IT IS!! and woo hoo! Every morning now, since the vetty stuff, when I get up the first thing I do is look for him, stare him in the eye and ask - things still well in MannieLand? Since he comes and finds me when he hears me start to look, I think I can assume that all continues to be well in MannieLand. :cool: A few years back he always used to spend the morning in the bathroom with me as I attempt to look civil decent and wake up. :shock: It was as if he had to supervise things to make sure I didn't screw up and end looking a little weird or off base. ;-) One morning he just stopped wit the visits, never quite knew why, short of he was onto other morning things - like uhh.... nanners! :lol: :lol: Just this past week or so he has started to make those visits again. So he gets lots of pets and scritches and chin rubs. He gets all squinty eyes and purrs. it is just the nicest start to the day. so I guess I can safely say all is well in MannieLand. This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (the president founder and CEO can still claim his title WOO HOO!) - AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie, and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so once again, as yesterday, I can safely say: Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D How cool is that?

Have a great day everyone! I hope to go hiking today, maybe. We shall see in the Nanner King gives me permission. :-D :-D Yesterday morning my DD , DSIL, and DGS came up to the pool. My DD and DSIL wanted to see DGS in the pool: what he does etc... , and were quite amazed at how well he does. It was such a fun time for them. Hey everybody!! I FEEL GREAT! Woo HOO! Maybe we can go parasailing in the desert. That would be kinda cool. I kinda wanna wiggle my toes in the sand and stuff. And fly real high. SWEET! OH! And Vyktor thought it would be cool to go to the park and slide on them really big slides, cuz well.... I was practicing the Zener Slide last night and need more practice! What'd'ya guys think? Let me know - I am ready for anything.... ~~ Mannie

Good Morning Michelle & Mannie,
Isn't it great when they start to do something nice that they haven't done in a long time. Sounds like a good way to start the morning. Mannie, you know how to make your mamabean happy. And that AMPS looks terrific. Maybe some more green is in the plan for today.

HI Barb - I think so too - well done Mannie. :cool: I hope so for Mannie - the amps was good, let's hope he can do something with this today - even a blue surf would be great. And thanks - I think I shall. :-D

Hi Michelle, I hope Mannie gives permission for you to go on a hike. Nice blue there, so hope Mannie gives a nice surf. I have a feeling he will, right Mannie! How sweet Mannie has restarted his ritual of following you to the bathroom. It brings back fond memories of when my GA kitty used to do the same. How nice you got to get to spend time yesterday with DGS and family so he could show off his talents. He is a little athlete in the makings. :-D Have a great hike today, Michelle.

Hi Ann - Looks like he did. We have yellow, up a little, so he should be fine while I am out an about. Yes, I am glad to see him return to this morning routine - I always did like this one. Swim with the fmaily yesterday was fun - so great that they could see Nicholas in action. :cool: Many thnka - I am looking forward to this hike. YAY!! :razz:

Maggie - you are on! I know on Vyktor - he has the bestest ideas - so lets do it. The slides and park should have the tree squirrels for Rusty too. Picks you up at the curb. ~~ Mannie

Permission given! Not too high though, mannie will be good while you are gone , then watch out. I love the reestablished morning routine. He knows how worried you have been about him and wants to reassure you.

Hi guys. Just stopping by to say hi. Boy your grandson is growing up so fast. What a cutie. Still the best of friends your two boys. I bet they always will be. I hope Mannie can come to the Canada Day/ Sweet Sixteen Party for Tori tonight. It should be a blast. Fireworks included. Short notice I know but the boys are really looking forward to seeing all their friends.

Hi Liz - thanks - I had a great time. Well, yupp! did find water, but not as much as normal. :lol: :lol: This one was a canyon hike in eastern washington, follows a creek there that connects wit the yakima river. Very nice area. :-D :-D

HI CD - Yupp - sure do like the back to the old morning routine. It really is a very nice time. and LOL!!: could be on the very big false eyelashes.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: and oh sure, and as if.... :shock: :o :lol: :lol: :lol:

Tess11 YUPP! Tree squirrels - they visit me everyday - we gots them by the dozens, trees, ground, anywhere. So we will make a trip here after all the other stuff and then you can see. Hi Libby - Thx - I love this morning routine. Part of me was glad he let me go hiking, the other part wishes he'd done it with just those nice high blues, low yellows... oh well, we start anew Morrow. And - I got to go hiking! WOO HOO! That was fun!

Even though pink isn't Mannie's color....all is well in MannieLand!!! And that is the best news ever.

My civvie, Petey, runs towards the bathroom any time he even remotely thinks I'm heading that way for any possible reason. It's too funny. He is SO adorable, so naturally he gets scritches and scratches like there's no tomorrow when he's in there with me!

Please come down now, Mannie!!! Have a great evening!

thanks Amy - it is good. I try not to worry... but well it is tough. I will be glad when his U/S is a done deal. But for now, it is true: all in well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Too funny on your civvie Petey. Love it, and am glad that other kitties do the same. Mannie sits on the floor and purrs.. .. :-D and thanks - I hope he comes down too.
 
How great that Mannie has started supervising your mornings again. It's an important job and someone has to do it!

Wow on the graph...other than the blip, not even much pink!

Mannie...Tobes and I have been working all day on the drinks for tomorrow! For Mr. Kink, we have prepared Orange Oprytinis and for Buca....Blue Moose Hiballs! Yummy. I can't wait to see whats on the menus...especially Tess's desserts!
 
Come down a little bit more Mannie - you are almost in yellow! You want to put on your best colors for tomorrows parties! Nice graph too.

Love the story of the morning bathroom routine. Seems so many kitties have them. I'm still waiting for Neko to return to the one of rubbing against and then nibbling DH's ankes. Maybe he's not looking forward to it, but when I see it I know she'll be back to normal.
