What a great day yesterday for Mannie. He had come off of a PM cycle the day before that kept both of us up late - surfing the 50's for a while. It was nice to see him not bounce, or hit the yellows, but continue on with a great low level blue, sometimes green surf in the morning cycle. We were up some in the PM cycle, but all in all - a great day for the nanner King.  Mannie you never cease to amaze me - well done big guy! cat_pet_icon and well.... as for this morning? Think blue, think green, OK? :-D

All is well in MannieLand, and we had no civvie whacking - none, nada, zilch. It was a rather laid back day yesterday for the nanner king, a day of napping, snoozing, nanner cuddling, more napping, and even more snoozing.... Why can't we humans do that? I think he was really tired from the day before, and was nap deprived.  We did manage some sun yesterday for a while, during which Mannie patrolled the exterior, making sure all was secure. He has this spot in the yard, amongst a tall patch of ground cover, where he sits, and watches: perfect spot to see everything... Somehow it's a great feeling to know all is well in his domain. We have had a great morning so far today - I got a break: no kitty choir, aka morning alarm wake-up system :o     !! weird.... test feed shoot was good, face washing for what seemed like forever, and now we are, as always, back to the nanners for a morning snooze.  Yep, life is good!

So here we are - Furday. and DGS duties continue today, and then I am off for 4 days. :-D I hope to make condos, forgive me if I cannot. I am thinking of you all, hope your kitties are doing well. Think GREEN kitties!

My friends!!! OK - we gots some traveling to do today, Leo is having a fresh fish feast and cookout at his place - and we are all invited!! So grab your stuff - we are off to Canada!!! I LUBS CANADA!!!! And guess what!! They gots kitty fireworks afterwards - how cool is that!!! The bus is all prepped so we can travel in style.. see you guys! let's roll - I am so stoked!! Canada!!! ~~ Mannie

Re: 7/1 Mannie AMPS 348

Good morning, Michelle!!! Sounds very quiet over there with no choir AND no civvie whacking!! When I saw Mannie's number this morning, I admit, I had to do a double-take!! What's up with all our kitties wanting to try out the third and fourth floors these days?!!

Hope you have time to take your DGS for a stroll today. You're certainly starting him off right in life with the fresh air and exercise!! He's already developed a love for the outdoors, I'm sure...especially with his best friend/grandma!!

Hope you have a great day!!!

Re: 7/1 Mannie AMPS 348

Re: 7/1 Mannie AMPS 348

Mannie, hurry and bring down your numbers so we can get on the bus and get up to Canada. It's Canada Day! The fish are jumpin'! I can't wait to grill some of them. Leo is waiting for us. See you soon,
Rusty

Hi Michelle, Have a grand day with DGS and I hope you get out on your "travel to hike" hike!

Re: 7/1 Mannie AMPS 348, +2 325

Morning and Mannie, please come down, which we know he will today. Hey, I wish I was your DGS going on all those fantastic hikes and having Mannie as my protector. Think of all the memories he will have as he gets older. Enjoy the day and hope Mannie gives permission today.

Hey Mannie, oh boy, I've never been to Canada. Looking forward to fun times with Leo and crew. See ya soon, Maggie

Re: 7/1 Mannie AMPS 348, +2 325, +3 244

It seems like a bouncy morning all around, unfortunately Tess didn't get the memo to turn around and come back down. Have a fun day w/ Nicholas, i think you'll be able to get a hike in w/ theses numbers. The kitties all seem to be preoccupied w/ travel plans.

Mannie, I'm ready, gots all my fishing stuff packed. Are kitty fireworks quiet ones? I don't like the big booms. -- Tess

Re: 7/1 Mannie +10.5 207, PMPS 156

156 @ PMPS - YAY, we found blue!!!

Thanks everyone for visiting Mannie today. DGS and I took off to one of the islands up north for a Little hiking and shoreline visit. We had a really great time. DGS had his lunch on the beach, and afterwards we wandered the trails in the area. And hooray! He stayed awake the whole time. Awesome. I am glad that he really seems to like these outdoor adventures.  :-D :-D

Hi Patty - I know!! what was up with that - no singing, and they were all on their best behavior.... I dunno on our kitties - sure are lot on the upper floors... maybe it's the new moon.  Mannie seems to have recovered, phew! And yes - we went on a hike, well more like a state park walk, but it was a very nice area . He's sure into the outdoor stuff. I hope he stays that way.

Hi Roni - well Miss Moonie and her fuds... who else is it that won't eat when he starts to go low. Shadow maybe? Mannie always eats- I've never ever run into that problem, and what to do... I have no tips, short of chicken dust, but i bet you have tried that. When Mannie has his dental and we had some problems and I had to finger feed him he really liked the baby food. Have you tried that? aiyee - I wish you luck. -- and maybe so on the diving championships, huh!

Hi Ella - that we did - up to deception pass on whidbey island, nice state park there. he did really well with this one. He really likes the water and the beaches, so we ate our lunch there, well he ate, i watched him slurp up his moo.

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - YA! he found the blues again., Hooray - who knows what sent him pink, but I am glad it is gone.... maybe it was the new moon... I hope so on the hikes, and his new buddy Mannie. It's fun so far, I hope it will continue to be so, especially for the little guy.

Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - i know on the bouncy morning - so many kitties are "up there" - we can blame the new moon - at least I think that was today... and yes on the numbers - I didn't even hesitate with those. We were only gone for 5.5 hours, so I thought all was OK. Came home to a 204. -- and yes on these kitties and travel plans....

Hi Celi - thanks!! you too!! what a great picture that is. :-D

Hey Tess - awesome!! we are going to have so much fun - fish to catch and grill and YUM!!!! oooooooooooooo on the fireworks... I dunno.... I will bring my ear muff plug/thingies so they will be quiet. OK? See you soon ~~ Mannie

Maggie - you will LUBS Canada! It is so cool! ROAD TRIP!, and I am on my way ~~ Mannie

Rusty - I did it!!! No more wayyyyyyyy upppppppp thereeeeeeeeee for me! Off to Canada we go! WOOT!!! ANd i stocked the bus with hot dogs - YUM!!, just in case we gets hungry before we have our fish fry and grill. ~~ Mannie

Hello! Finally stopping by. Busy day! Mannie came down nicely for you. Hope you had a great day with DGS!

Tarragon was so excited for tonight. He couldn't figure out what to wear. He finally changed from his pink outfit to his yellow one just before the bus got here. I told him that boys look better in yellow. I'm sure he will be tired and eat way too much. Maybe he will let me sleep past 5 tomorrow.  Ya right!!

Have a great night!

Re: 7/1 Mannie PMPS 156, +2 109, +2.5 100, +3 98, +4 105

Get on that surfboard Mannie! No scuba diving tonight OK? You've got a Canada Day party to go to.

Hi Michelle. It's good to read that Mannie is doing so well. Yes I think I'm really back this time. I finally was able to tell Tori's story today. I couldn't let her birthday pass today without doing it. Remember last year?

105 @ +5. wow - What a nice even blue surf! Guess this is it for the night. Well done Mannie !

Hi Marje - He's seriously considering it... though I suspect he's where he's gonna stay tonight.

Gracie - they were AWESOME! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad you made enough so we can have some on the bus! Molson Moustinis!! Perfect for our Canadian friends. OH CAN A DA! oooooo - look!! The fireworks are starting! ~~ Mannie

Hi Barb! I am so glad to see you have posted tonight. What a special day - Tori's Birthday. I loved her story - she was meant to be yours, no doubt. what an incredible bond you had, and continue to have, with her. I am so so glad you are back - and were able to tell Tori's story: it's as if it completed the circle. and I know on her birthday... I remember last years.... Stu was so adamant about making a cake, cinnamon because cinnamon was good for diabetics, and Mannie went to help. One of his first cooking adventures. That started so many things... and the KTSS. -- and thanks on Mannie - he's doing really well, so much better than things were a year ago. I don't know if he'll ever make OTJ, and that's OK if he never does - we do the best we can, and hope... maybe... thanks so much for the visit. I hope you can and will continue to pop in now and then. It is so good to hear from you.
