Thanks, Tena! It's a beautiful day here in Southwestern Ontario. I wonder if Karrie is going to catch a glimpse of William and Kate. The royal couple is joining in the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa.
I have been working on trying to get Teddy and Pinkerton to be more comfortable together. Pinky is getting a lot more running around the house time, while Teddy is confined to one room. Then in the evening, I put Pinky in a crate in the TV room, and Teddy is in the same room with us. They have been able to sniff each other and watch each other. If they look at each other close up, they get a treat. One evening I opened the door of the crate (with Pinky on leash and harness), but he chose to remain quietly in the crate. Quite often, on his run around the house time, Pinky chooses to go lie in the crate. I think it is going well. The next step will be for Pinky (on harness) to be free in the same room with Teddy. Pinky seems quite calm about this process, while Teddy is the one who seems fearful.
I have been inspired by the puzzle box videos. I don't have insulin syringe boxes  so I used a tissue box. Teddy thought I had taken leave of my senses (since when do I have to work for a treat?), but Pinky is on board with the program.
