Gordy was excited for dinner, but didn't earn his CPC badge. Maybe later.

Sooooo - I picked up a new food today. Instinct's pate (venision). But when i opened it, there was some white stuff on the top. It was on 2 of cans I got... so I did the FF.

Anyone use this stuff?? I dont know if the white film is visible....

I don't feed Instinct, but sometimes I see this sort of thing in other canned foods. It could be fat that rose to the surface. If it smells OK, and the general color is OK, it is probably good. If it isn't good, Gordy probably won't touch it!

I read about fat doing that, so you're probably right. Gordy tried it out and ate some. Rex seems to enjoy it more... guess we'll keep trying. Its not a meat they've had before.
