Good morning! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, but Mr. Kit has been doing great on Lantus. Can someone please help me find the thread or tell me what information our vet must write on the prescription to order lantus from Mark’s Marine? This will be the first time I ask for a prescription instead of just buying one pen from the vet for $149. Thank you!

Can't answer what rx needs to say. It's been awhile for me. You only need the one script. I think mine said (I use lev) Levemir insulin, dose as directed by dr. And Dr just checked refill box. Like I said, don't know if it needs to have more info or not.

But you will get 5 pens for a little more than you paid for one. That's a bargin.

Your vet just writes it the same way they would in the US. If he/she writes for a vial and you want the pens or cartridges instead, just call Marks and tell them which you prefer.

You don't have to worry about refills......once Marks has the original script, they'll continue refilling it as much as you need. They don't require a new script every year like the US does
 
I made a photo copy of the script and faxed it to them. Then waited a few minutes to call them to make sure they received the fax.
My script was for 1 pen with 3 refills. But I was able to get 3 boxes of 5 pens for a total of 15 pens. If he doesn't go above 5.5U that should last him a year.
The expiration date for all 15 pens is November 2022.
