Dosecrease on board. The heat is getting to everyone. Appys not the best here. Putting ointment on Olive's eat scratch. It has quite a scab on it. Got her nails trimmed last night best I could. They are so thick.

I have to venture up to garden to water. Not looking forward to the heat and bugs.

Yesterday when visiting with dad, the facility didn't know what to do with the delivery of Italian ice that came. It was to pass out to the residents to help prevent dehydration. So I took charge and went to all the rooms and passed out cups of it. Some people had the heat on in their rooms. Was I sweating by the time I finished. Oh was it tasty. I haven't had one since I was a kid.

Yeah it's been nasty hot here too. Yesterday I went out only to get some groceries and to feed/water the birds.
I hope the dosecrease gets Olive into green :D
 
Hopefully Miss Olive will get back to business. The weather sure does affect appy's even if the AC is on. We've been lucky with temps mostly under 105 but it's still just the beginning of summer :arghh:
 
Was out watering before sun hits the gardens. All I can say is yuck!!!. The gnats and black flies are relentless. Forget about natural insect repellent on the veggies I'm going for the big guns, yep the poison (although it's safe up to day of harvest). All the potato leaves are chewed, the pickle leaves are being chewed. When I go into town Tuesday for my dentist I'm picking up the powder for them.

The bugs are the worst part of living in the country surrounded by trees.

Ug...it is super hot here as well. The Italian ice would be perfect for this weather. That is nice that you passed them out to the residents. Sorry the bugs are eating your veggies.
