Furball was happy & purry this morning. It was nice to see she did get to blue last night. I tested last night before I went to bed expecting to see blue, but there were too many fireworks going off and it was scaring most of the kitties. I had 3 neighbors shooting them off. Some of the booms were really loud. That is unusual. Normally, we only have one neighbor who shoots them off if anyone does. It lasted for almost 1 1/2 hours off and on. It kept me awake later than normal. I'm going btb.

We had lots of loud booms last night, too...it was getting annoying! At least it's only once a year. I hope all your kitties have calmed down...enjoy your btb, Carla!

That sounds like my neighborhood too: relentless booms!

It is nice to read that Furball did find the blues last night. YAY! I hope she can today too.

With all the craziness, noise and the smell of gunpowder in the air, I figure our kitties have every right to be a little bit wonky on their numbers for a few days.

Hope you had a good BTB today and Furball will return to the blue floor for you soon!

Poor kitties and also that you couldn't get any sleep because of the fireworks. That's just crazy to have them going off for that long. No ordinances against it?

Furball was having a nice blue surf this afternoon. The pink surprised me. Her left ear has been bothering her again and I cleaned it, but that was at +10. It does stress her out. I guess it could have raised her BG and affected her PMPS number.

Marje, I don't know of any noise ordinances or anything against fireworks. I wish they were banned in WV so only professionals could set them off.
