Good Morning Everyone,

35 degrees here at camp in the early morning, but warming up (46 now). Two of our friends are paddling the first lap of the "90 Miler", a canoe race that takes place in September. They are doing it to see if they should register for the race. They left to do the paddle in dark and fog at 6 A.M. We're going to meet them at the end of their paddle (if they get that far)!
Stu had a good night and ate all of his food. It was COLD in the cabin (50 degrees when we went to bed). His +4 last night was 87; I don't know how much lower he may have gone, but he didn't bounce too high this morning. We put our heater on this morning and at the moment Mr. Cat is sleeping in front of it. Haven't seen any evidence of the mice. I guess they were all caught last trip, when Stu had the mouse-hunting party here. Mr. Cat sends greetings to all his pals. More later (it's great to have internet here; makes me feel much more secure because Stu will have the help of the FDMB if he needs it).

Mommy said it would be fun....we need lots a candles!

Not to worry about making food if you are busy at the cabin now...

Hey Ella and Stu - my goodness it is cold there.... nice Stu can warm up by the heater. Great start to the day for Stu!

Hi again, Pretty awful day here today: cold, blustery, and now rain. No paddling for us today, but we did get the shopping done. We worry about our friends out on big water in this weather. They are coming here for a chili dinner tonight (cooked by me, not by Chef Stu!) so we'll hear all about the day. We decided not to go to meet them at the "finish". Stu has had excellent numbers today. He has basically lounged about. All the ps are in order, but we can't find the mouse he was playing with last night. Rain is supposed to continue into tomorrow, but we were planning on going home anyway, so our plans are not changed. Stu says he's really up for the new moon party on Saturday. He'll bake some of his famous pizzas and maybe something else, too.

Ella, sorry you have such yucky weather! 35 degrees is but a distant memory to me now; I can't believe it is that cold. I mean, that's long johns kind of weather! Yikes. Hope your friends made it to the end of their paddle and they enjoy the chili dinner. It sounds perfect for the kind of weather you're having.

Whoa, you must really love camp! You have great #s today. I just heard about the New Moon party at Shadow and Raja's, and I'm really excited! I'm gonna go to Shadow's condo and see what I can bring. Woohoo, we have the life, don't we?!

Sorry for the weather Ella - sounds downright cold and dreary. Love the chili part though... best not let Stu help you, you might find the missing mouse. oh - bad humor. I hope your friends make it back safely, and you all have a great evening.

What gorgeous numbers Stu had today!! He just loves to be away!
