6/9 Shakespeare!! AMPS 151- insulin GOOD!!!

Sorry so excited this morning,
his amps was 151 fed than waited 10 minutes(did not want him to zoom up)
he was 165! ok showered and 17 minutes later tested and he was 197!!

ok he is not zooming up, could be good , right?

ok but still elated, I shot him at 197 cause last night I shot at 214 and he was great, soo....
Please just confirm I did the right thing and I dont have to worry about hypo, right?

ok still having a party! anyway sorry to go on...

That is AWESOME! So happy for you! Sounds like a breakthrough. Maybe the secret is leaving the insulin out. ;-)

Sometimes when you get a breakthrough they go very quickly on a dose reduction path. Which is great, but can be dicey. Important not to overreduce or reduce too fast, but also you have to do a little dancing with the numbers not to overdo it on the dose. Might not happen here, but just mentioning it to keep an eye out for. If you get any numbers below 50 or if the PSs edge below 150, I would back off the dose just a hair.
