Well, looking at Sammy's numbers today you will probably think we had a great day. Not so much! It has been very stressful for mamabean. Last night Sammy got very picky about what he wanted to eat. He woke me up on more than one occasion to ask for something different than what I had given him at his last snack.
At PM +1 last night Sammy vomited for no apparent reason, and after that he was very particular about what he wanted to eat. I don't know if there was something wrong with the food or what.
The lack of eating carried over to his AM cycle this morning. I was able to get him to eat a bit at AMPS, but then he wouldn't eat anything else. He will normally eat every time I put food in front of him, and if not right away before the next snack time. This morning that was not the cast. I left the remainder of the AMPS food next to where he was sleeping when I went back to bed this morning. I was exhausted from getting up multiple times throughout the night. When I got up at +1.5 he had eaten the remainder of the AMPS meal, so I went back to bed until +2 because I figured he was feeling better.
I gave him another snack same as AMPS at +2 and went about my day. When I went to check on him at +4 I found that he had not touched the snack from +2, which was also left right by him. I wasn't too concerned at this point, but I did offer him something different just to see of that was the problem. I didn't push it too much because I knew he had eaten something at AMPS.
Fast forward to +7, he still hat not eaten anything, and I offered him even more varieties, but nothing interested him. We went outside for a bit and he ate some grass and I was hoping that might help but it didn't. I gave hime some famotidine, but that was before we went outside so I don't know if he actually puked it up or not. At +10 I was getting desperate to get him to eat. I opened 3 more cans of food and tried everything I could think of.
He went to his favorite spot to sleep and I went in to have a little discussion with him before I went on doing stuff around the house. I asked him to please, please, please eat that plate of food before I came back to check on him again. He immediately got up and started eating, and ate nearly the entire plate.
Thank goodness!
Hopefully that was the start of better eating for tonight.
Needless to say, I loved seeing him back in the green today, but the stress of him not eating was much worse than having higher numbers for a couple of days.
I hope everyone else had a great day. BTW, I was offered a job yesterday and will be starting on June 22nd. I hope I can get Sammy somewhat regulated between now and then so I don't have to stress about him when I am away at work.

Congrats on the job.
