Yesterday was another good day with most of the time spent in the yellows. Now I'd like to see some blues.
It's great to have him sleeping in bed again, playing, and demanding things. He WANTS! This is a true sign that his sparky personality has returned. dancing_cat

Around 1:30 I started thinking he might be in discomfort, because he didn't look right, and was clingy and had a high BG. Maybe his stomach? I gave him a shot of bupe and his 4:30 BG was lower. What a difference after a painkiller nap. He's back to being a happy guy.

He is feeling great. We have all 5 Ps with some to spare. He's being a regular Mr. Happy Pants, running around and being frisky.
I'm getting the LC and HC food lined up, in case they're needed. I fed him some low carbs at +2.

I'd feed a little LC but we are always trying to get Zener to eat more. For River, it's an early big drop and I would try to slow it down now.

Thanks Liz. I gave him a tablespoon of LC, and now I'll give him a bit of HC.
The other cats are saying, "Are we doing this again!? WooHOO!"

Be sure to write down what you feed and when and what BG you measure. Part of this is gathering data to see how River reacts to what you feed him. Woohoo, kitties, here comes the fuds! :lol:

+4 is 130/7.2, so that's good.
Test in an hour, I guess.

6:30 fed 1st dinner .5 can Wellness
8:30 fed 2nd dinner shredded roast pork
9:30 fed 1 heaping tbsp Wellness
9:45 fed 1 tbsp HC FF

Looks like the HC brought him up. I'd probably stick to LC from now on unless he gets below 50. Looking good! Great job, Lara. :-D

Evening Lara! River is looking really good tonight, I hope he hangs out in those blues more and works his way to green! It was observant of you to notice that he didn't seem right earlier and give him something for pain. He's got a good bean looking after him :-D
 
Amy, you're a doll. I'm glad I was at home and able to catch that he was feeling poorly. River is teaching me to be more sensitive, to recalibrate my senses to listen better and observe more closely.
