Sorry to hear you have got a bad bug. There are some wicked ones going around Manitoba so I am sure the same in Alberta. I am on week 3 still with the coughing. Please take care of yourself :bighug:

And of course Lulu decides to do an active cycle when you are sick. Sounds like HC is in order and keep the syrup at hand, just in case.

I`m glad I did, with what`s going on with Lulu. She`s at 50 now, so will test in another half hour. Ready with the HC and corn syrup just in case.

I am getting better it is just taking too long. I hope you have one that clears within a day or two. There is nothing worse than being sick when the weather is nice :(

Good luck with Lulu. Maybe she just wanted to keep you home so you could "rest" more. ;)

glad you are with her.... sounds like you've got the dance down.... hopefully she'll come up , get on that surfboard ( 70's /80's)
so you can have a nap.....
 
Thanks, Rhiannon and Carla. I just tested her and she`s come up a bit to 50. Do you think I should give her more gravy? I will be testing again in an hour.
 
Congrats on the reduction. :D When she's low like that, I'd test every half hour. You want to catch it if she drops below 50 when the high carb food wears off. Depending on her next test, you might be able to do with just some low carb food. She's right on the border of low carb/high carb - just like a cat to be difficult!
 
Thanks, Wendy, last test she had dropped below 50, so another tablespoon of gravy. I`ll test again in a half hour.
 
Just realised I posted on yesterday's post :banghead: hope you are soon feeling better Lori. Lulu, give your bean a break and come up a wee bit, she needs the rest.
