Monday's Condo

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday I was on the crazy-train again! Whew!!! My doctor's appointment went well and my hip is feeling better this morning! Yeah!

Luci was a good girl yesterday although she got off to a roaring start in the morning a little MC food seemed to slow her down and then another appointment in the afternoon left DH in charge who apparently didn't test her again after her mid-day number seemed to be going up...oh well...you can only get them to do so much...

It was a late night for work since I'd been busy (not working) most of the day...gotta make it up sometime!

I took the morning off today and went to the beach! It was an absolutely beautiful day and my DH says, you want to go to the beach??? WHAT?? On Tuesday? So since I worked late last night I said 'what the heck' - my hip is feeling like a new one and I figured it was time to give it a test drive!

The issue with my hip was that it has been bothering me for a long long time...several years. My doctor said it was due to my L1 disc compression; my chiropractor said it was due to mis-alignment...neither recommended anything to make it better...so on I trudged...with an achy hip. My DH saw this orthopedic surgeon last year for a knee replacement and receives his newsletters - sent one about hip pain over to me...and I thought 'what have I got to lose'? He took an x-ray and said the pain was bursitis...not very glamorous but he gave me a cortisone injection and said that should fix it. And oh boy! Has it ever! The first pain free night (last night) and day I've had in so long I can't remember! No, I don't know how long it'll last but I'm grateful for a 'normal' day without pain!

My boss only called a couple of times and I sent him this picture! I said I'll be back in a little while...and we worked together all afternoon

Luci on the other hand was lazy and didn't get down out of her lemon tree all day! I hope she gets back to work soon Just like her mama!
