Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (there is not enough ~O) this morning..... :shock: ), and Happy Sunday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! Lola and Bug are back int he kitchen, experimenting.... oh oh! They asked to have have half the kitchen got their pizza shoppe! HUH? Well, I guess I cans do that, as long as they don't get pizza stuff in my brews, or flour dust on the espresso machines or eat all my ice cream while they is making the pizza. Hmmmmmm.... maybe I can gets some good pies out of this. Mega cool! This morning they are trying a coffee pizza, ground beans and all. It is kinda weird, but smells good.... but I dunno..... AND the tiny human went home yesterday. I kinda miss him, even if he did eat way too much of my ice cream..... so. well. anyways. onwards! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Hawaiian coffee plantations: Hawaii Ka'u blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut and caramel whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings.... YUM!!! Mannie How am I doing? OH! YES! Ice cream dollop included. It is an irehh cream and and hazelnut blend. Mega good! Mannie said so.

THANKS EVERYONE for visiting over the past few days. I have missed you guys. I haven't been that busy in ages.... sorry I wasn't able to devote much time here. WOW! Nicholas kept me so busy, and we truly did have a great three days together. a very nice, but omg busy day yesterday. It was another late night for me last night. We had a great time though with DD's birthday BBQ. After a mostly cloudy day evening hours were sunny. BBQ was fun, I think Erin had a nice birthday. New little guy, aka William DGS, sure is a quiet one, expected since he was born way early.... LOL: for now on the quiet. Nick's reaction to him is nice. At this point in time, he is is fascinated with him, wants to help. We shall see how he feels after a week with a baby in the house. :-D :-D It is amazing on how good Erin looks. well anyways - nice family time. Nicholas and I went to the trails here at home, so he could get some outdoor time. That was fun - another berry hunt. Does that little boy ever love hunting for wild berries. :lol: :lol: For those that asked yesterday: salmonberries are a wild berry that look very much like a raspberry, except that they are predominately orange. They are the first berry here that makes fruit, usually in late spring. I sent him home with mom and dad a baby bro last night, after three days camping out with grammie. Toady will be a catch up day here for sure: shopping, laundry, cleaning... Hopefully some time down at the shore. Enjoy your day everyone!
 
It looks like everyone had a great time at the party yesterday. Now that Nicholas has gone home, hopefully you can get caught up on things and still get that shore walk in.
 
Morning Michelle, great pics of Family day and Erin's birthday. Awwww.....on little William and Nicholas. Your one son that has breffifs with you is so funny with the animated facial expressions. :-D That's great William is so quiet and a good baby. Nicholas seems fascinated with him. I see Lola wanting in on the buzz, too. :-D Great pics of you and Nicholas picking salmonberries. I, too, kept meaning to ask, as we don't have those berries here in this area that I'm aware. Have a great shore walk today and hope you can catch up on stuff, too.

WOW....busy indeed!!!! Happy birthday to Erin...it looks like you had a wonderful celebration! Hopefully Nicholas is settling in nicely as Big Bro...it's a big adjustment for him.

You deserve a day off! It sounds like you have been going non stop. Take some time for yourself today.

What great pics of a fun fun day!! You know, i think you're one of the few people on this board who doesn't write about btb!! I-) I just read your yesterday and i feel like I need a btb. I hope you have a nice quiet, catch up day!

Whoo hooo Elsa.. thanks again today. May I please have an espresso and a mocha.. They both sound so wonderful, i can't decide. YM YUM YUM. Good luck sharing your kitchen :lol: :lol: I hope those kids remember how to clean up and not eat all the product!

Three days of full time Nicholas - you deserve a rest day today! :lol: :lol: It looks like a very successful birthday party in spite of the rush to get the fixings. I love how the newbie cats made an appearance in there too. They seem to be fine with crowds.

Salmonberries - yumm! The first salmonberry blossoms are the sign that rufous hummingbirds are about to return. I have a few plants that keep wanting to sprout in my garden.

What great shots of the family party! It must have been such fun. Nice cake, too! Baby William has beautiful hands. Nicholas looks so happy, and Erin looks great, Anthony, too.

I hope you got some much needed R&R today. The kitties had everything under control in the kitchen, so you could go out for a walk. Thanks for visiting us. I've been on and off the board too in the last week or so (more off than on). The summer schedule is busy, busy.

Have a restful evening. You certainly do deserve one!

Elsa, thank you so much for that delicious espresso this morning. And tell the Paw Print Pizza kids that Rusty and the gang really liked the pizzas. Rusty was so glad that you could come over here today and that all of you kitties could then go to a beach somewhere (he isn't saying where).
 
Hi Everyone! I hope your day ash been a good one. I've made an attempt at unwinding today, from three days of 24/7 Nicholas. :-D I actually miss the kid. :roll: ;-) I spent the morning hours on a woods to shore trek, out about 6:30 AM, back about 4 hours ;later. I love it down there in the mornings. There is something magical about the early hours. This afternoon I took a short walk through the neighborhood, ended up a StarBucks. Hmmm.... must have been on auto pilot. :lol: :lol: anyways - these walks I find relaxing, and do let me unwind from the go go go. The rest of the day was laid back: visited some condos, read my backlog of hiking literature, sat on the deck just soaking up the sun, which we eventually did get, did a few errands but ignored most. It's been a nice one here, weather wise, activity wise. Tomorrow I hope to go on a hike. Well, I will, just need to determine where.... I will post the Picassa link to today's photos in tomorrow's LLips.

Hi Carla - We did!, and many thanks! Yes, I did get alot caught up - it was nice just to have the laundry done and the house more or less clean. :-D It was also nice to decide that I didn't have to spend the day doing it either. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - THX on the pics! I so love to watch Nicholas learn about his baby bro. He is so in awe,., and ever so gentle with him. I hope it will remain that way. And THX on Son #2, and the facial expressions. That is Anthony, and he is so fun! Quite the character at times. And yes on Lola, and Bug too wanting to be in on the party. It always thought that most areas had salmonberries, guess not, as I get alot of comments from folks that have never seen them. They are EVERYWHERE here, rather plentiful, grow wild, and are very prolific.

Hi Amy - oh yeah - it has been so crazy. non stop crazy. We did have a great time, and I so hope on Nicholas and little bro. Time will tell, but so far all is well. it will be interesting to see how today went, when he was home all day with mom dad and the baby. LOL on the kitties and the kitchen,,,, well, not too bad. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - hey, thx! Oh yes on the non stop. Nicholas is busy enough, but have been also helping Erin with all that we can help with. Been mega busy, as Mannie would day. THX on the pics - LOL on DGS, that shirt, and that ice cream. He has lots to teach his little bro, especially about the wonders of Double Fudge Brownie ice cream. :lol: :lol:

Hi Mary - Hey - many thanks. The day was really a very fun one, from the beginning with Nicholas (what a great helper he is - he truly does try very hard), to a BBQ I was so unprepared for. :lol: :lol: Today was good. I like to take long walks, hikes etc locally here through the woods to unwind. That has always worked for me: I come home refreshed, ready to go. ;-)
Auntie Mary! Yes, you may! I will bring double of everything just in case. I will be there soon, and use my special door. I LUVS my door! Oh! Hi Wendy - I know on those three days.... they were really a ton of fun, but am I ever tired. :shock: We did good, got it all out together in time. I twas a blast to let Nicholas help me make things, from salads to fixin's etc. great fun. And ye s - Lola and Bug made the party - that was fun. They are both social cats, Lola more so. oh yes on the salmonberries - in full fruit here now. Cool on the hummingbirds... :-D

Hi Josie - THX on the pics - and you are too kind. ;-) I love that shirt too, thought it was great. Funny - but I thought the same thing when looking at him in those photos: he seems so much older, more "grown up". :cool: THX too on the cake - it is a very good one. One layer is a white cake, the other chocolate. It's frosted with white frosting then a fudge like chocolate that covers most of that. Really very good! THX on today - it was great. :-D
 
Hi Ella - I missed your post.... Sorry! THX on the photos! and the party. It really was such a nice time. I thought so too on William's hands - such long fingers. :-D THX on today - I did take time out just for me: a walk, and a shore visit. I enjoy doing that, it has a relaxing effect for me,even if it is a little physical. LOL on the Kitties and the kitchen - Elsa and PAwPrints Pizza were so grateful for Rusty's guidance, I on the other hand was grateful to him for manning the BBQ yesterday. THX RUSTY!!! I so know on summer schedules: I am off more than on too, and almost completely off these past three days. :shock: Many thanks on tonight - it will be just hat: laid back: nada noting zilch planned! :-D :cool:

Oh Michelle, he's just precious! Like his big bro!!!! :-D So much fun to have a birthday with all the family. Love the pictures, the smiles, the grandkids, the furkids and all the adventures that come with it.
 
HI Barb - Many thanks - we all did have a great time. Good BBQ, good fun. LOL, and yes on the three days. They have decided that N will continue with all his activities, just as he did before. Drop off times may vary, but the days with me will remain the same. Nicholas has such fun at this stuff that they don't want to take it away from him. and THX: evening was great!

Hi Deborah - Hey THX! He is such a sweet quiet little baby. Amazing that Nicholas really likes him, so far. He just wants to help mom with everything for his little bro. truly a kind hearted soul. Thx on all - it's been a great few days.
 
Hi Michelle, great pictures of all the family doings. I would think Erin would appreciate "only" having William to care for. Nicholas is high energy! :-D :lol:

Morning Liz - oh yes... that he is, high energy! we will let Nicholas do things as he normally would, he will still come here for swimming, hiking etc. while Erin is on maternity leave. No sense keeping the kid home, he's so used to go go go. LOL. Then in a few he can teach his little bro the art of go go go. :lol: :lol: THX on the pics. :-D
