How did the test go? To remove the 911 go to your first post and click edit. Then click on the none circle and the 911 will be gone.

Okay. It's gone now. You are doing great. It's better that you waited a little longer anyhow. That means less food impact in the BG reading.

That is really the same. Remember that the meters can be off by as much as 20%. You did great. He is not going to go back down below 50 again tonight, or should I say this morning.

Thank you sooooo much Elise!!! I don't have words to convey how thankful I am for you! You saved my sanity and my baby. THANK YOU!!!
I will shoot .75 in the morning. That's going to be hard to figure.

I'm glad I could help. Julie, Wendy, and Marje have helped me a lot too. Do you have syringes with 1/2 unit markings? Which brand are you using? The in between numbers are hard to do and harder without them.

The half unit ones are the best you can do. I'm trying to dose with calipers to be more exact as small changes seem to cause big changes with Max. Are you okay now?

What are calipers?
I think we are good now and going to get some zzz's :)
Wish I didn't have to be up in a couple hours for work. Ugh!

I have another cat with multiple acquired liver shunts and he is having hepatic encephalopathy. Along with me dealing with Peyton I have been direct dosing him water and lactulose every hour until he had a good bowel movement to remove the toxins. Hopefully they have both gotten it out of thir systems in one night :)
Thanks again Elise!!!! (((Hugs))) to Max =^..^=

You have earned sleep.I'll be up longer because Max dropped back to 75. He should surf now though. Sorry about your other kitty. Having two sick is hard. I'll explain about calipers tomorrow. Sleep well. You did great tonight.
