? 6/9 Callie +6 87; +8 210; PMPS 422 Question about shooting dose again and does she need a decrease?

With Callie's +6 being 87 and below the 90 (or maybe too close) for SLGS, she might have earned a dose decrease. Someone (so sorry I forgot who) suggested I ask for helping about shooting the same dose one more time. I did that already for her PMPS. My daughter and her family just got here from out of state so I'm a little scattered.

Is there anything I need to know? I'm wondering if she needs a decrease with the 87 being so close to the 90, or if I should keep the same dose?

Tanya, I told you a threat to increase would do this. LOL Did it work for you also?

And now we have the big bounce!

Are you talking about "shooting thru the bounce" technique, Glennie? The dose that got kitty low to earn a reduction is kept for the next cycle last time before taking earned reduction - that's shooting thru the bounce. I see in the SS you did it - I'd do too.
I am not SLGL expert at all guidelines but I think that 87 at +6 earns the reduction. Congrats! If you want to take it, that is.
I hope you have wonderful time with your family and Callie doesn't give you much trouble over the weekend! House guests might be stressful for some kitties - don't be too alarmed if Callie gives you high numbers, she'll go back down.:bighug:

Yes, Tanya...thank you, shooting through bounce. I was pretty sure that's what it's called, but it sounded funny at the time. :confused: So it didn't work with Ducia this time. It was pretty funny that I said that, and then she got low enough for a decrease. I am hoping it isn't a failed decrease--I guess it just seems like such a small dose. But they need what they need, huh?!

Thank you. We ARE having a wonderful time with family. This is the second family visit I've had in 5 days and with doing Vacation Bible School this past week also, it's been a little hectic. I'm having my two grandsons this week while my daughter and her DH go to Hawaii for a much deserved and much needed anniversary trip. Thanks for the reminder that being stressed might raise her numbers. Sometimes she does the opposite and her numbers plummet with stress, but I think that is partially caused from her not eating when she's upset. Of course, she will probably do the opposite of the opposite. LOL Thanks for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it. Hope you're having a great weekend. :bighug:
