A nice blue start after yesterday's good vet visit. Dose fattened a drop this morning to f1.25 to see if we can get more blues and greens. Appy has been very good the past several days, and that has really helped!

AMPS 185, 1st cycle @f1.25u, 1PP, 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.4oz 10%
+1 222, 1.0oz 10%, 7 drops kidney liq

Zener and Tillie had a game of chase the kitty down the hallway this morning. And lucky me, I had a bed buddy this morning - Zener! cat_pet_icon

Wishing everyone a great Friday. Sending healing energy to kitties and beans in need.

Looking so good already--Have a good day-Hugs & Love from us!

Re: 6/8 Zener AMPS 185;+1 222

Great news on the vetty visit!! How sweet that they were playing this morning and you had a snuggle bunny. Good boy Zener taking care of your BIC. Have a great day all!

Looks like a blue cycle. I wasn't careful where I put the QOE's (queen of everything - Tillie, the civvie) food before +2 while I was getting ready to test & feed Zener before heading out to my tai chi class. He was being awfully quiet and I noticed he was finishing up her food! So, I waited and got a test @+2.5. It's so great to see him with good appy! :-D

@Roni - ah, maybe that's it - vetty visit fear and avoidance. Looks like we are back to a blue cycle, will see what happens in the next couple of cycles. It often takes the big guy 8-10 cycles to settle in at a dose.

@Melissa & Mr T - it was great news from the vet and we have paws crossed we go two full months before another visit! Zener and TT are doing a very good job taking care of me. ;-)

I noticed it was taking a pretty firm hand on putting the strips in the meter to turn on, so checked the battery signal and it was low. While I was out for class, I picked up some extras (because of course, I put the extra batteries I bought before in a safe place and can't find them  ) and replaced the batteries in the main and backup meter. We've had this meter since we switched to the Arkray from the Alpha Trak several months ago, and it sure gets alot of use.

Hi Anne, it looks like adding the fat to the dose helped Zener's numbers. Great seeing his appy, even if it was topping off Tillie's food. How do you like your Tai Chi class? Does it help you relax? Have a good afternoon.

Mellow yellow @PMPS, eating dinner outside on his bench - things always taste better outdoors! :-D

@Ann & Maggie - not sure if the added drop did anything yet, it usually takes him several doses to settle in. Still, it was nice to see more blues than yellows, and especially nice he is eating well right now. I've been studying chi gong/tai chi for several years now and I love it. I am always relaxed and refreshed after class, similar to after a yoga class.

Zener spent several hours outside this afternoon lounging in his cabana that Liz made for him. He is enjoying time outside right now sniffing, watching the birds and relaxing on his bench. A robin landed close to him this afternoon, poor bird must have thought he was a rock or something. Zener jumped up and lunged at the bird in his special CH way. I'm not sure who was surprised the most - the bird or Zener! Everyone survived without fur and feathers intact.

Chief Inspector Crapdash is really missing Inspector Poo this week. It's hard to do proper poo patrol without a full team!

Re: 6/8 Zener PMPS 248

Cute cartoon! I am sure Zener would have missed Liz  When is she coming back?
Ive learnt my TaiChi years ago but never can find the time to practice. How you find the time to practice? Usually the morning time is the most busy ! Got to go back to the master for some refresh class before I forget it all!

Re: 6/8 Zener PMPS 248

Looks like Zener is taking it easy today...no dives, no bounces. We all need a break sometimes, don't we, Zener?? And I agree...there's nothing like dining al fresco!

Have a great evening, guys!

Zener is edging his way down in the yellows, paws crossed we see some nice blues soon.

PMPS 248, 2nd cycle @f1.25u, 1PP 1/8 zantac, 1/4 ondansetron, 1.5oz 10%, 1/32t miralax

+2 240, 0.7oz 10%

Just talked to Liz and she is having a nice time with family. Today, she played lots of cards and said her butt was sore! She and her sister are going back to Metropolis tomorrow for barbecue (I wonder if Superman makes it?), and she is going to have her picture made by the Superman statue in her race t-shirt. Maybe she will post it!

The kitties are missing Liz. Neither one is going in her office and hanging out while she is gone. We are counting the darks until she gets home. ;-)
