PMPS = 302. Dose increase from 2.25 to 2.5

All seems well. Miss P allowed an extended brushing session yesterday. To think, a couple months ago she was basically an "untouchable." She even came out to socialize last night when a friend and her ginormous greyhound came to visit. Quite the transformation!

Polly is very pretty. I bet if you keep telling her what a pretty kitty she is and what a very special girl she is, she might continue to grow increasingly more social.

Thanks, Dyana. Yes, she is a pretty girl. You know how a show dog will often have a long, sometimes complicated, registered name and then a shorter, more familiar call name. Well Polly's name is kind of the reverse. Her adoption on her adoption papers is Polly, simply Polly. But her "call name" has always been "Polly, Pretty, Pretty Polly."

This sugar dance has just given her such confidence that people can hold her, pet her, even look at her without any harm...and yummy foods, to boot! Wish she weren't diabetic. But, darn, this newfound braveness is a wonderful side-effect of testing and shooting.

We just hit blue at today's AMPS +4. Hope she goes slow wherever she's going!

Gosh, yes she was! Wonder if we'll get into the pink again, too. C'mon Polly. We don't have to do Groundhog Day.

she's got gorgeous eyes! they remind me of punkin's - big and round. i wanted to adopt another maine coon but fell in love with these 2 kittens and took them instead.

happily, at +7 she doesn't look like she's headed for pinks. you never know though - crystal balls are SO unreliable! :lol:

I saved a post written by someone when her cat went OTJ. she reflected on how much the FD brought into their relationship - it's true, it's such a mixed bag. i've loved all my cats, but with punkin and FD i got so in tune with him, watching his every movement and wondering what it meant. it was a bond like none other. you want the bond but without the FD!

i lost the bookmark for that post when my other computer crashed. i'll have to dig around and see if i can find it.

Er, um. Polly smashed that crystal ball into lots of not so pretty pink pieces.

I loved the letter. Bittersweet, sort of. But Polly has become much more secure. That's a good thing.
