My child is now officially older than I am! I don't know how he keeps getting older and I don't. It's a wonder of life i don't question. :-D he's been working with us for almost 10 years now. When he started he told Mark he'd wash windows and put gas in the cars. That was about all he knew and he wanted to work with the racecars so much he'd do anything. (I had dragged him to the races since he was 8 and he loved the cars). He's grown into quite a mechanic and diagnostician. Several of the "big" race teams have told him if he ever wants to leave the "little family" they want him. We're all quite proud of him!! And..he's one of the kindest people i know. I am one lucky duck to have him so close. Happy Birthday Aaron! Love you LOTS.

Ollie is doing well this am. He wound up to 187 last night. I thought he might be getting ready to head for a reduction. Nope. Just winding up to wind up! All Ps in place. He and dad are in the office...ebay i think ohmygod_smile

Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AARON!! What I find so ironic is that it is my DD's birthday is today too. Her name is Erin. fancy that! Aaron, Erin, to bizarre, coincidental, all that stuff. I do hope he has quiet the birthday. Sounds like he's loves his work - how wonderful to read that. Happily and gamefully employed. YAY!

And Ollie! look at you. Another green day, more green surfin' awaits you. Wow Mary, you have done so well with him. This is great to see.

Hi Mary. Glad Oliver came out of the blue zone and back to the Lagoon where he has earned a permanent seat.

It sound like Aaron really loves what he's doing and has made a name for himself in the racing community. How great is it to earn a living doing something you love? Wish him a Happy Birthday for us and hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hi Mary......agree with what John said. How wonderful to love what you do to earn a living. Sounds like you raised a good guy. There's no better feeling, than being proud of your children. :-D

Oliver has been playing the high 70 low 80 note all day today.. Hang there little one!!!!
We had great fun with Aaron's b'Day. We all rode different mowers and got the grass cut. Of course we set out areas and it had to be a race to see who could get their area done first. Aaron has a spatial brain so he won. Mark is the engineer so he was second. I'm just out there looking at the flowers and the birds..so they finished my area :lol: :lol: Then it was off to the park for beers and brats.

Hi Michelle, your Erin and my Aaron AND born on the same day! That's a coinkydink. I love the sound of the name. He was going to be Erin if he was a girl. Yes, he does love his work. YAY!!!

Hi Liz, His birthday is the oddest thing. I don't remember very much except looking at the clock and wondering why he wasn't crying. I was about to get nervous and at 12:29:29 I heard his first cry.. then i went to sleep. oh well, so much for mushy mom!

Hi Kathie, YAY :mrgreen: so far, he's hung there all day!! I passed along happy birthday's.. It is cool that other teams recognize how good he is.

Hi Barb, I can't take much credit for him. We all do the best we can and then some of us get lucky and some of us..not so much. We've been lucky and i thank heaven for that!

Hi Ella, We did have fun! WE had beers and brats at the park this afternoon and then tonite we ran down to the corner and had Aaron's fav.. corned beef and cabbage.. HAVE to have that at a restaurant.. i can't STAND that smell.

Sounds like a special day with the family. I'm glad you enjoyed the birthday celebrations. I laughed at the mower races. Why is it you get two guys side by side on machines (or boats :roll: ) and it's automatically a race? :lol: :lol: Send more Happy BD wishes to Aaron and a side of scritches to the fuzzy feets.
