I know, I'm late....but better late than never! Mr Tinkles is purry and happy to sleep in the AC all day long...what a life! His numbers are beautiful, and I'm very happy with the +9 snack experiment. His PS numbers have been lower since I started that. Now if I could just find a way to make sure he eats that snack on his own at night, I would be even happier! Oh well, who needs sleep.... :roll: Four Ps in place today, it's too hot to play, apparently!

Thanks for that link to the food issue. What a challenge that was to get info on just a few flavors!! Geez. But I did make notations on my Janet & Binky list for what the values changed to on those few so I'll know in the future. Unfortunately, it looks like a true low carb (2%) food may no longer exist in the FF line unless its pure seafood and I'm trying to limit seafood in Champ's diet so he doesn't develop any urinary issues. I'm starting to make notations on his 'SS about what varieties I'm feeding each day so I can see if his numbers vary with the flavor. Of course, that doesn't take in the other 1,001 variables that could influence his BGs!!!

Mr. Tinkles, as always has such lovely numbers!!! I hope you all have a great evening!!! And thanks again for your input. I value your opinion on every topic!! :-D
 
Hi Laurie, Mr T. is looking fabulous. What are you feeding for the +9 snack? I feed Rusty a snack at +9 also (usually a small amount--a teaspoon-- of his food: Wellness turkey). I think it works sometimes and not other times. At night we put out "bedtime food" for him to free-feed on (a "treat" of a teaspoonful of FF T&G and 2 teaspoonsful of Wellness turkey), but he usually eats it all at once, right then!

The thunderstorms have missed us so far, but we did have some strong winds that blew through. I'm hoping they will continue to miss us so that I won't have storm-related water in the cellar (together with the water-table related water). Yes, when we go to Camp on Friday I'm going to just forget about the cellar!!!
