yes!!!! now we just gotta get him otj! this is a great number!

does any1 ese have a cat that will only bleed from 1 ear? i have tried and tried on the right ear. it used to bleed sometimes. now i can never get it to. it wears out his left ear, i am sure. anyway, it seems odd?

mel, i didnt go up on dose yet since these numbers were lower. will see how amps is, ok?

Sammy's left ear always was better for testing than her right. I think some of that hand to do with the position I put her in, angle of holding the lancet, etc.

thats what i thot also, linda, but then when hes on the bed, and easily accessible, its still hard, or wont bleed at all. weird.

nice low number tonight.

I eventually gave up on trying to use both ears, and just used the one that worked best. I think that once I did that, all of it got easier, and I had even less problems. I wonder if some of that was literally the calmness and confidence I approached her left ear with.... that translates to a calm cat, and a more gentle insertion of the lancet. Or at least it did for me.

thats good. im glad. larry is just so jumpy and restless. doesnt wanna hold still and shakes his head every time i try to get the blood. hes not patient. hes always hungry. sweet big boy.

I'm not sure if its me or Gracie, but it always seems more difficult to get the right ear to bleed than the left. It may be how I'm holding her, or just that right hand to right ear will be more awkward than going across with right hand to left ear.
