Help
I left the insulin out today and it was 90degrees here
It was not in the sunlight, I keep it in the box
but it looks like there are particals on the bottome of the vile

Do I need to just roll it or do you know if it is bad

I bought this vile a couple of days ago!!!!!

Shoot! I don't know, Denise. Usually, in normal household temps, it is okay. You may just have to wait to see if it continues to work, or not. How long was it out?

All DAy!!!! about 11 hours

and doesnt it figure that he has a preshot tonight of 214!!
so I will not know if he bounces or the insulin does not work!!

just when he was starting to get good numbers!!

usually the 'floaties' are at the top of the liquid and not the bottom. Could be it just needs to be mixed again. At 11 hours in 90 degree temps, the vial life is probably shortened unfortunately. :YMSIGH:

That's an awful feeling! I was so mad at DH when he did it but then I did it too & left it out longer than he did! It seems to be ok but it wasn't that hot when I did it. Hopefully you will still get some use out of it!

Dang, well you'll know soon enough, if you give the shot and can test at +3 or +4 and you don't get any drop then you know the vial is done.

If you still have floaties after remixing it, I think that may be cause for a new vial? I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's what I read - clumps or floaties are a sign to replace it. Bummer if that is the case. Maybe call the manufacturers or vets if you aren't sure?
