LIL STINKA!!!!! We had a lovely time this morning with groomie and purrs and cuddles. I did her +6 test and went to get her fish oil and.....no Gracie. :shock: :shock: Anywhere. I looked in all her favorite spots, Gus and Tobey's favorite spots, opened closets, cupboards, the frig....nowhere did I find the LBG. I wasn't worried because I had just tested her and I hadn't had the doors open since then. So I'm in the library looking under a chair she likes (it's an upright recliner with a little "hammock" underneath that she likes) and I started calling her. Walked back out into the foyer and.....she's sitting there with her little chest puffed out DUDE!! You don't have to yell! I been here all the time! Can I help it if you're blind? :lol: :lol: :lol: I have no clue where she was. At least she came when I called her. And now she's following me around as if we're stuck like glue. I just told Mike last night....yay...more than 24 hours in normal numbers. Shut my mouth....guess she didn't like the 40s yesterday!
Oh my....yesterday was the day from HE double hockey sticks!!!! Got a call from my Phx office that they needed some files so had to go to my office, pack up some boxes to take to FedEx. Left there, stopped by Lowes to get a few things (stupid me I parked my car facing west) and came out....battery dead dead dead. And it was 105 degrees. Thankfully, I always have a huge container of water with me. I called Mike, he came down and tried to jump my battery. My daddy taught me how to jump a battery when I was 15 and I've jumped many myself and that battery did NOT want to kick over. So I sent Mike back home because Gracie was cruising the 50s. I called Roadside Assistance, they sent out a tow truck which took OVER an hour to get there. I waited in Lowes most of the time but then had to sit outside when they said they were almost there. So then another 20 mins in the heat while they got their truck situated and then jumped my car.....and it started. So by now it is 6:30. I got to Lowes at 3:30. I raced to Sears because my battery was only one year old. They said "sorry....no repairs after 6" even though I had called and the guy said "bring it over". So I had to use the "kitty with diabetes" card. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: Finally got home at 7:30, we ran to a local pub for dinner, came home and I got in the pool because I swear my body temp was still outrageous. And then I fell asleep. I actually OVERSLEPT this morning!!! I haven't done that in 2.5 years. Tobey woke me up so I was only about 30 mins max late with the shot.
So....trying to catch up today. I am going to run out for a mani/pedi since LBG is flat yellow. I will be back later for definite visits!!! Sorry to have missed you all.
eta: went to shower before my appt and I'm in there scrubbing away, look down, and there is a 1.5" scorpion 1/2" from my foot :shock: :shock: but being an AZ girl, I splashed water on him to move him, finished my shower, got out and got a shoe, and smashed the crap out of him :lol: :lol: it's like Mike says.....everything around here will either bite you, stab you, or sting you :lol: :lol: :lol:
