Cinco Goes Scuba Diving

I cannot believe we are down to .25 units!!!! He hasn't been on a dose that low since July of 2013! (ANTI-JINX). I do not have a clue what to make of this.

I know he's working off the depot, but I hope he'll be a good boy tonight for bowling. The good news is that, now that we've eliminated the cone, I can set up Otto for him. That's a huge relief. Meanwhile, I'm just gonna enjoy this, because I know we can start back up at any time.

Minka ate her entire breakfast in one sitting, and then polished off the additional food I offered!

That's the first time she's recovered from a flare that fast. Maybe she's healing (anti-jinx). Summer appy is in effect still with Sasha, but she is eating. Harvey threw up white foam first thing this morning, so I gave him his Pepcid right away (he ate it in a pill pocket!). He ate his breakfast in small increments over the next hour or so. Cinco's appy continues to be stellar. I guess the cone was affecting that, too.

I haven't handed out all the meds or done Minka's squids yet, so must get moving. I got caught reading condos. I should know better than to do that in the morning! BBL.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Extra vines for Michelle's Elsa and Jamye's Fred. :bighug: Prayers and vines to Amy's DF, Marje's DM, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.

Thanks for visiting us, Elise, Melissa and Carla. Cinco is surfing low blue, which is just fine and dandy with me. Hopefully he'll surf there right on until at least +5 tonight!

Minka came down to the kitchen an hour or so ago and asked for food, and ate every bite I gave her!!!!

Whooo hooo!!!

Great report today! Concats on the reducie!
Cinco I'm at the lagoon. Come join me! Be sure and stay close to shore!

How exciting!! He really has been rocking that juice lately!!

Cinco...I is sowwy I didn't come out wif da life preserver last night so I is happy to see you made it back to da shore! After all dat swimming I did yesterday, I was just too tired to go all da way out der again. You is lucky da sharks didn't git you! Dey was hungry after chasing me around all morning yesterday~ China

Go Cinco- truthfully I had lost track of how little insulin he's getting right now!! Congrats big guy!!

Hooray for Minka - but continuing to send strong appy vines for her, Sasha and Harvey!! Pancreatitis is so frustrating, it seems you really have to be on the lookout and get the cerenia/ondansetron/pepcid into them pro-actively;at least this has been my experience so far.

I did not know Harvey's bio, that is a difficult situation and complicated since you have a large family! But it is great that you are on top of the situation, your kitties are so lucky to have such a dedicated set of beans! :bighug::bighug: Hope you're having a great time at bowling tonight Tricia!

Thanks for stopping by, Paula, Ann, Chris, Liz, Rhiannon and Ruth.

Looks like Cinco surfed blue, as requested, while we were away. At least that's the story he's telling! I'll get one more test and then bed (unless he pulls a fast one on me), as I have to get up so freaking early in the morning. I sure hope the dermatologist has some insight on his hotspots, or I'll be pretty upset about getting up that early for nothing!

I decided that, since he's out of the cone, we could go back to our original litter box arrangement, so I removed the extra box before we left for bowling. I left all the pee pads, and I'm glad I did, since we returned to find he had peed all over them!

I guess once you give them a box, you can't take it away. ARGH!!! Needless to say, he won and the extra box is now back.

Everyone ate their evening snack with enthusiasm before we left, and the late dinner when we got home was similarly consumed. Cinco emptied Otto - only two little crumbs left to prove there was ever food in it. Minka even ate a little bit of a second serving! :) Everyone has been medicated, and the fluids are warming, so I'll be off to administer them shortly.

China, it's okay. I didn't even get nibbled on, but it took me a long time to swim back to shore. Mama says from now on I gotta wear my water wings! I didn't go in at all today - I am still waiting for my fur to dry out. - Cinco

I got my pretzel bite fix, so I'm full and happy. It's still stinkin' hot here - 81 degrees at 12:30 am!!!! That is how it was in Tucson where I mostly grew up, but it is NOT normal here. We've had to leave the A/C on for the night, which we normally do only a few times each year. They say the Delta breezes will return tomorrow night and it will cool off some - down to around 82 in the daytime, from today's 104. Bleah. I really hate summer. The kitties aren't liking it, either, and I feel so guilty for making Cinco wear clothes - Sasha is without hers. I've kept the ceiling fan going in the family room for him all day and will leave it on all night, too.

Well, off to do squids and grab one more test. Ni ni.

Great report on everyone...congrats on the reducie!! Good luck at the dermatologist today...and yes, Cinco's outfit is just so darned cute!
