Ravan is still doing Great. :)

Peggy Sue slept with me all night.( I think she knows how upset I am & was trying to Comfort me! )

This morning is another lovely ,sunny day,she wanted to go outside & lay in the sun. I offered her many different foods. I'm Happy to say she finally did eat
a few bites of canned food. After laying in the sun for a while she also played briefly with her mousie. ( I think she made the effort for my benefit :) ) I am still hopeful she will pull thru this.

One day at a time!
( I need to take my old car,a 2000 Civic ,to the shop this morning. It's making a noise that I haven't heard before! o_O Kinda like me! :p making weird noises )

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Nice start for Ravan. I'm glad Peggy Sue ate some for you. I wonder if the AB could be upsetting her stomach? Are you still going to have the dental? Sending prayers.

Hope the noise wasn't anything serious

It's a rattling sound under the hood drivers side. The weird thing is it only does it for about 5 mins when I first start the car. I wanted to have it checked to make sure it's not something serious starting up.
The shop is 5 mins away. I drove there this morning & it was rattling away. Parked & the guy comes out & starts it up & "Not a sound" Drove around for a while with him & the car was quiet! :banghead:
So he tells me if it starts doing it all the time bring it back. I love my Honda. Her name is Emily! :joyful:

She took the AB a few weeks ago for a UTI. The vet felt that it would be better to wait & see which way this is going before attempting a dental. I feel that digging out a tooth from her jaw would be very traumatic.
Dr. said we could do blood work for Feline Viruses,FIV,FIP, FeLV
These diseases are not curable, why stress out my cat & spend a lot of money if I can't do anything anyway? I really like my Vet but since he sold his practice to a Corp. They have started pushing Tests & Dental! I've talked to a lot of people that agreed with me about dental cleaning. 3-4 months later the teeth looked just as bad.

My cat Alice has stomatitis. Diagnosed 15 years ago when she was 2. When they told me they wanted to remove all her teeth I researched the Internet. I talked with a vet that said pulling the teeth doesn't always solve the problem. He said stomatitis is a Virus that lives in the mucosa of their throat.
He told me he has seen the disease come back even after removing all the teeth! He said they are doing Stem cell studies on it now & I also read Zyrtec is causing "some" kitties to go into remission from stomatitis!

So I didn't do anything. Alice's teeth were all absorbed over the years. She never lost weight ,never showed any signs of pain and will be 17 tomorrow.

Peggy Sue did eat twice today, but she looks like she's lost a little more weight. I just don't think this is from a tooth.

I hope I'm wrong.
